Good morning ladies...:)...today is P90X Legs & Back (the leg exercises are great Dutchie!) and a 4 mile run. I am so glad its friday! Mari, are you looking forward to the recovery week? My obsessive nature will probably still make me lift a bit, I thought maybe Cathe's full body workouts like SS and Push/Pull might be fun to add....:)...Carole
 
He-he Carole, I was thinking about the same thing. I'll do SS and P/P too. Now I'm getting ready for P90X -- I just LOVE the leg part. I'll also add 30 min cardio, probably rowing with some HIIT in it.

I was reading the book yestreday, and I found it very interesting. I don't know if I'm ready (want to?) ditch my chicken/turkey breast, fish and fat free dairy that I've been eating. I totally love his food pyramide though, and I believe to eat according to that is very healthy. My down falls are cheese, tough I eat low fat cheese. The rest of my dairies are all non fat
His ideal weights are really low. I'm 5/6 and1/2 and I should be 121. Maybe that should be a goal. I'm 126lb now with 17.6 bodyfat. The bottom line for me is to add more veggies and fruit.

How long have you been doing this?

Today is KPC abs, Xtreme, and S&H:tris/bis. Tomorrow is off to a 3 month vacation from work. I cant wait, this means even more time to exercise and play.

Hi,

I did PS Biceps and abs off that workouts, then I did the hi/lo segment of MIC. I was back up a pound this morning so I did no make my goal *yet* but I will.

It is raining here but my dh has the day off due to Reagan's funeral and my dh works on an Army Base.

WOW, 3 months vacation -- good for you, girl!

Annette, 1 lb is nothing. You are doing so well, don't sweat it. Great workouts, btw!

Carole, I had "Eat to Live" breakfast . I had my usual egg white omlette, but instead of turkey and low fat mozzarella I put beans and soy cheese in it.
Tracking the stuff on Fitday it seems that the calories are the same but the fat % is a lot lower.

Tony kicked my butt today.....
 
Hello All:
This morning I did an hour of step then changed into dry clothes, had a big drink of water and mowed the lawn which takes about 45 minutes at a good clip (pun intended;-))! It was a great add on and now I'll shower and enjoy lunch on the patio. Enjoy your day !!

I didn't think I wanted to ditch my chicken and turkey either. But it really is healthier to at least cut them back. I didn't really consider his ideal weights. I am 5'4" and I know my best running weight is 118-120. He has my ideal at 111. I cannot remember how long ago I weighed that!! Funny though hubby said I could get to 115, but today at 124 he say's I am too skinny....go figure...x( . I have been on this diet for a little over 3 weeks. I do add some whey protein powder to my fruit shakes in the morning. I know that is good after a tough workout. My biggest downfall was Pringles! But after a few days the cravings did go away. Your breakfast sounded good too. I use Egg beaters when I have egg. And yes, I don't think adding fruits and vegeys would hurt anybody. Let me know how things go...:)...Carole
 
Me again....I forgot to thank you for telling me about Fitday...it is such a great site. I find most of my pie shape is Carbs!...60% or more...:)...Carole
 
Hello girls! Most of my pie shape is also carbs tsk tsk (I tell you I've tried to lower that but it's my weakness x( ). Yesterday was my yoga day. I did Baron Baptiste's Soul of Strength. Have a nice weekend everybody!
