Workout for Tuesday 26

HI everyone,

Today I have no work to do (I finished it yesterday), so I have a big workout day planned for myself. 30 minutes of Ab hits, Rythymic Step and then afterwards a 1.5 h AShtanga Yoga class that always leaves me feeling like a pile of jello and in need of a nap.

Its going to be a warm late October day in Chicago. I plan on getting outside at some point and going for a walk. The leaves are so beautiful right now.

Hi Suzanne (and everyone else),

I totally agree-our neck of the woods is gorgeous this time of year. I'm just about 2 hours south of you and it is pouring rain and has been all night -so needless to say it is pretty dark and dreary.

Anyway, I did have HSTA planned for today but my lats are sore - I'm not even sure what workout did it-oh well. So I did SJP step, hi/lo and abs only.

ONLY 2 DAYS TILL WE SEE PICTURES!!!:) :) :+ :+

Well, I'm going to check out Cathe's November rotation now...

Have a great day everyone,
Wendy

I've never been to Chicago but it sounds beautiful this time of year...:)

It is raining here...so a wet run in store for me...about 6 or 7 miles and Timesaver #5....a version of Legs & Glutes plus some other exercises.

Cathe's November rotation looks tough....enjoy the workouts...:)...Carole

Hi eveyone. There is only two days more :) :) :).I am going to go for a walk with my mother and when I will be back home I will do IMAX 1. Have a great day.

Hi everyone,

It's been rainy and dreary out here in Scandinavia, but just a perfect day for staying inside and making some hot soup and feeling cozy. Being able to stay in is one of the things I still enjoy while staying at home with my two young ones (10 months and 2,5 years). I'm trying to enjoy it while it lasts, because I'm going back to work right after Christmas. Oh well, I have to say I think being at work is easier :O:O! My nerves are starting to be really fried here...:)))!! I really have great respects for all SAHM:s, you have nerves of steel!!!

Wendy, I love the hi-lo from SJP! I use it a lot, often mixing it up with other bits and pieces.

Yes, 2 days!!! Do you think they'll actually post pictures right away? I had just "found" Cathe when the BodyBlast came out so I have no "experience" of how this actually goes.

I did a KPC/Legs and glutes 60min. premix. It was one with the KPC combos circuiting with Legs and glutes standing legwork. Felt nice, just what I needed! I really haven't used the premix option very much yet, there's such a whole new world out there!!! What are your favourite premixes? I need fresh ideas...:)

Anyway, hope you all have a great Tuesday,

Maria

Hi again.I have just seen the uptade of cathe. Cathe is marvellous. One new rotation and video clips and new uptades by the end of the week. I only want to share my happiness with all of you. :) :) :)

Morning all,

At 5:00 a.m. I did Legs & Glutes (getting closer & closer to working out in its entirety) then I did a little of Gauntlet...I've done step aerobics before, but I am VERY new to Cathe's step, it's was a challenge, but I had lots of fun trying. I always laugh at my mistakes in the foot work and then I rewind and start all over again--only when time allows me to. But I know I will master it.

Have a wonderful day everyone.

Haydee

Good morning, everyone,

This morning I did Power Circuit cardio/leg work; CTX Upper Body Split, then back to Power Circuit for planks, abs, and stretch. I'm good to go!

I think the CTX Upper Body works me about as thoroughly as PUB. It's a super upper body workout.

Take care,
Sandra

I did Body Max warm up and step routine, PH abs then 30 minute Baron Baptiste Yoga Core Power for Athletes. I feel great!

Hi all,

I did PUB back only, then did warmup and intervals 6-10 on IMAX1. I am still experimenting thinking maybe soy causing a problem. I had my smoothie with banana again this morning but after yesterday evening eating some new soy chip and having soy cheese on my quiche I am thinking maybe soy is a problem in excess. I am staying away from soy today and see how it goes.

:D

Hi all,

Today I did the PP premix for 80 minutes, the entire PP twice through. It was great! I wasn't sure I would make it, but I even did both sets of the inverted shoulder press. Great premix!

Hi everyone!

Tonight I am taking a powerflex class at my gym then later abs from KPC.

Suzanne, I really envy you..Chicago is a beautiful city with some of the friendliest people I have ever met! My cousin lives in Hyde Park (the nicer section by the university) and I am planning on visiting in the spring, but reading your post I feel like taking the first flight out there:D :7 !!

Annette, sorry to hear you are having stomach difficulties. I was wondering if you've ever considered taking probiotics like acidopholus. I used to get quite a bit of bloating and just a general feeling of discomfort, then I started working with a certified holistic nurse who recommended I start taking probiotics and I tell you what a difference that has made. I also suffered from severe allergies/sinus problems, and the probiotics (as well as other types of supplementation) really helped to alleviate this as well. I truly feel like a new person. The company I buy from is called Natren and they are absolutely the best company in the world to purchase probiotics from. If you'd like to learn more about probiotics and the company here is the website: www.natren.com
Sorry to go on and on about probiotics but I feel this has really helped me tremendously:)! Maybe it can also help you as well. Hope you feel better soon!

Hi Sandy, I have tried acidopholus and it really didn't seem to make a difference. I looked at the website you linked but since I know very little about holistic type things I found it kinda confusing. Thanks and I welcome any type of explanation that you or any others can offer. I am sooo at a loss here.

Thanks!:)

Hi Annette,

Oh sure I will definitely go into more detail but I will have to do so tonight as i am at work at the moment:+ LOL! One of the things I learned from my nurse is that all acidopholus is NOT created equal....It all depends on how the bacteria is cultivated, manufactured and stored. There are so many variables. For example there is a lot of acidopholus on the market that is stored on shelves and not refrigerated, which is an absolute MUST. If the acidopholus is not refrigerated and kept cool the bacteria will die and dead bacteria can't be much good for anything!! Oh I better stop for now!! I promise I'll get back to you after I get home from the gym!

Take care,

Hi Everyone, hope all is well. The weather here in NJ has been cloudy for the past few days. It would be nice to see the sunshine on the leaves now that they are at peak.

Well today I did the whole RS. Boy that gets me drench everytime. I haven't done this in a few monthes. I feel like I've always feel workout after this one.

Annettee I've been reading info on your problem and also I have too. I've read don't know much but heard peppermint oil is suppose to help and also clown's mustard. I pick this information up from the Health Food store. It is for IBS. I was thinking of trying one of them then try the both to see how it goes. I will try and get more info on the web and post it here. Also they say when your bloated try peppermint tea. HTH.

Edit: I found the info here is the link http://www.atdonline.org/download.asp just click on the one for IBS and you do need Adobe Reader to view this

Hi again. My workout for the day is done.I have done interval max and bootcamp. My cardio hability has grown using interval workouts as IMAX 2 and going beyond my cardiovascular limits with MIC and the terminator dvd.The first day I did IMAX 1 I thought I was going to die. Today is has been hard but doable with only little modifications.I have done the upper weight exercises of bootcamp with a few weight because my arms are really tired after the pyramid upper body I did yesterday.Anyway I am proud.
Tomorrow is going to be my rest day. The 28 is really near and with that day is coming my cathe maraton. }( }( .See you tomorrow.

Annette...so sorry to hear you are still having problems..:(...I did also try peppermint oil tablets too and they did seem to keep the cramping away. I eat alot of soy products and have not really found a problem with them...except the soy beans themselves...wow....kinda fun getting even with my DH after all these years!!!}( . My problem seems to be better as long as I don't get too stressed, and the Dugestive Advantage that I told you about seems to help me...I think I might try a nutrionist if I were you...I do pray that you can find a solution...:)

Laurie....no, I don't listen to music when I run. I run alone alot but I want to hear my surroundings. When I use my Nordic track now thats when I crank it up...especially Aerosmith!!.....Carole

WOW, it is so nice to see this daily workout thread growing! Very motivating and very interesting.:)

I did 30 min on the nordictrack followed by Meaner Legs (I like this new name) and abs. Enjoy the day girls, Mari

It's cloudy here in the Philadelphia area too. The clouds help keep the temperature of my office down, so I'm not complaining!

This morning before work I did Slow & Heavy back, biceps, triceps and abs. At lunch I went to the gym and finished up with my own rendition of shoulders and chest. As effective as Slow & Heavy is, I'm always glad when the rotation comes to an end. (Next month I start a CTX rotation, and I'm really looking foward to that!).

For all of you who are so excited to get some pictures on the 28th (much like I am), I wouldn't start looking for them until the end of the day. Don't forget...they actually have to get through some filming first!!:)

Take Care,
Shelbygirl

Hello there! I did Kick Punch Crunch and walked the dog for 30 minutes.
It's dreary and raining up here in NorthEast Wisconsin. I am actually antsy for winter! ;-) Susan
