Hi All,

Found my voice again :)

Still very tired and coughing, so I took it easy today. I noticed this morning that I seem to be losing muscle tone. So I did the ME Upper Body split + Ab Ripper today. I don't seem to have lost any strength though. On the contrary, I could do the shoulder exercises all the way through with #6 db and the push ups were easy to do. Both were giving me a hard time before I started P90X. Later I added Yogazone Poweryoga.

I seem to have gained 2pounds again, but it is TOM, so that could be it.

I have a question for the experienced runners. I will start running again on Tuesday. Would it be a good idea to start with 5K, taking a walk break every 6 minutes. Then add another 1K every time I run until I am back to the 12-13K I ran before the fysio told me to stop running for a week. Because of my encounter with the flu bug I won't have run for 11 days when I want to start again.

Hi Dutchie, glad that you found your voice again and seem to be feeling better.

I am at GOAL ladies!!!!!:D :7 :7 I am soooo excited 25 pounds gone!!!

I did a basic taebo with abs and wrist weights today before taking the boys to swimming lessons. I might maybe try to do something else later but don't hold your breath.:eek: }(

Anyway that is my news. Have a great workout!!:D
 
Wow...didn't know you lost your voice Dutchie! I haven't ever lost mine although there are people that might want me to now and then..:)...and I would bet you haven't lost any muscle tone this quick. It's just hard when you can't exercise. I think your idea when you start running again is a good one. Listen to your body, that is the best thing. I did CTX shoulders, biceps and triceps this morning before church and I'll do YogaX this afternoon.

Hello ladies

Congrats to all of you who are at goal/almost goal weights. 25 lb, Annette, you must have been pretty discipline to do that. Congrats to you!:)

Sometimes I think it would be nice to be lighter but somehow it just never happens. I'm at my currant weight (126-128 lb) probably for about 30 years now (except pregnancies) so I decided to live with it after all. Interestingly though, the bodyfat went lower during the past 2 years from about 20 to 17.6 %.

Anyhow..... I did 30 min intense rowing and stairmastering this morning plus abs from the PH/MIS/BM and part of the P90X/Core. AbRipper is resting for a while since some of the moves bothered my busted hip. Gotta be careful with the old body....
