Work-Out Manager Help

Hi, i have a question regarding the aspect of workout manager-calendar-add workout-mark as complete-then it asks you to fill in the boxes telling the number of minutes the workout was and the mets. What are METS? if i don't fill this box in it gives me a 0 value for calories burned. would like the numbers to be accurate...help anyone? thanks!
 
METS are how we measure the intensity of an exercise. Walking has a Met value of usually between 3 or 4. Aerobics usually has a Met value between 6 and 8. If you Google this you can find tables that will give you the Met value for almost any type of activity.
