I'm sssoooooooo EXCITED!!! I was able to do all of PLB w/increases of 35, 40, and 45lbs!!! I remember this past summer I wasn't sure if I would even be able to work up to 30, 35, 40!!! I officially am calling myself tough stuff (can I do that and not come off to egotistical?) Anyway I remember also right after I had my son 2 1/2 years ago doing lunges with 10 lbs was tiring! To everyone working themselves to a goal, keep it up, it can happen! Here's to one day an increase of 40, 45, 50!}(

Julie, that is awesome!!! GOOD WORK!!!! Before you know it you'll be looking for a weighted vest because the barbell has become too loaded to put over your head.

Er, do I want to know how your legs will be feeling tomorrow? :)

WOW- you go right ahead and call yourself tough stuff cause that is!! I am truly impressed. I seem to have a hard time using heavy wts with lower body cause it makes my HR soar- am I a freak or what??? Never the less congrats on your success.

Congratulations Julie! All that hard work is leading to even harder work ahead. Great Job.

Congratulations! I can do that much weight, barely, for the squats and the deadlifts, but can't use that much weight for the other exercises. Do you vary your weight for different exercises, or are you using that much weight for everything? Just curious.

In PLB yes I used that weight for all of the exercises. I'm not sure why Cathe starts out lower for the stepups then increases her weights for the other exercises. I find that I am able to handle it without any injury or falure of form so far, so I'm hoping that I can keep it so for when/if I can increase the weights. DH said he would help spot me when I want to try up to 50 lbs, so that will be helpful incase I push it to far.
