Wish me luck, people

RE: Lest we forget

Dear A-jock, you have earned another crown in heaven. Those things aren't so bad if you a kid of your own is involved and you know their friends. They are tolerable if you have a niece or nephew in the cast. It's torture if the child you are there for is the offspring of a friend. You did a good thing.

RE: Lest we forget

AJ's tough!! I know she can handle it Robin. :7 :7 :7 And she's always had my deepest respect in her incredible athletic abilities (as well as a heart to help others in theirs)....but I had to chuckle at this one!! I have a hard time sitting through "anything". Poor AJ....being forced to sit through this....AND FOR SOMEBODY ELSES CHILD...AJ HAS reached sainthood (I'm sure this was tougher on her than any mishmosh she's ever concocted.....and the justice in the form of a child thing...I couldn't pass it up - so sorry AJ).

Am I forgiven???

Annette, you're tough! You can do it! I have complete and utter faith that you WILL survive. But I do pity you, poor girl.

I'm lapping up the pity, people. It is going to take about 54 more hours to recover from this. In fact, the only thing that kept me going yesterday during the day, knowing I had this lead balloon of an evening ahead of me, was knowing as well that I had a scheduled mental health day off from work today. I banged out my Kickbox Medley mish-mosh (10-10-10 warm-up+KB, KPC mid/high intensity drills, Kick Max Blast Challenge; Boot Camp cardio only premix); also BC lower body premix, my new ab mish-mosh (ball rollouts; CTX Kickbox planks through roll-ups; Cardio+Weights abs) and then some lighter upper body work. Polished that off with a 75-minute power walk. I feel human again.

You all will be amused to know that a few weeks ago I had to take a statement from a woman who had three children under the age of 5 with her, and the friend who accompanied her also had 3 children under the age of 5 with HER, and I had to accompany these woman AND the 82nd Rugrat Division to a waiting cab afterward. The screams were incredible. (The children were pretty noisy too.)
