I am getting ready to gear up for the Ocean Drive marathon in March. I'm giving myself a good 20 weeks (the first 4 being a warm up) to the big rotation of 16 weeks. Is anyone willing to share their rotations with this first timer. I've done tons of 5k's and one 10 miler. My best 5k time was 24.38 and my 10 mile was 1:32. This is my first marathon and would like some input in smart training.. Thanks!!!!!!!!!

I know a lot of people on the Cheetah's thread use with Hal Higdon - http://www.halhigdon.com/ or Runner's World to help set training schedules for halfs and full marathons. I personally like Runner's World because it has you run 4 days a week instead of 3. But, many people like running only 3. Have fun! I just ran a Half yesterday - and I cannot imagine the sense of accomplishment from running a full, if running a half was such a high!
