Will your video's be hard on my knee?

I have heard so many good comments about Cathe and I would love to try one of your video's but I'm a little nervious about a bad knee that I have. Right now it is just fine. I hurt it running. I am currently using Karen Voight's "Energy Sprint" workout but find it a bit boring. Her tapes don't hurt my knee but "The Firms" do. Do you think I could successfully use yours? I was hoping to get MaxPower, Max Intensity or whatever you suggest. An advance workout is fine. I just want to keep my knee from getting hurt again. Twisting side motion is the hardest on it.

Hi Lora!

Hmmmm! Thats a tough call because every workout that involves step will involve some sort of rotational/pivot/rebound move in it in order to provide enough variety for a 60 minute workout(unless it is labled as a basic step tape). Do you perhaps have a friend that owns any of my videos that would let you borrow them to preview them? Or how about your local library? I know some libraries loan out our videos in the same way that they loan out books. I wish I could be of more help but knees are very complicated. It would be almost impossible for me to recommend a video without actually knowing you one on one and what your limitations are. Sorry that I don't have a definite solution for you

! Good Luck with everything!

I will have to take a chance.

I live in a tiny town of 10,000 people and 45 minutes away from the nearest city. No one here has ever heard of you. At least I don't think so. Is there anyone out there from Pt. Townsend Washington that is reading this? I will have to just take a chance I guess. Maybe my local library would buy one. I will ask. Thanks for your honesty. I appreciate it. Lora. :=)

Hi Lora!

If you are just going to take a chance let me say that I don't think that you would want Step Fit or Step Works. There are some moves such as the Flying Angels, 1,2,3 across the top 3, repeater pivot straddles, and other rapid rotational moves that I think may be to your disliking based on your previous post. Powermax also has a couple of moves, the richocet and or a move called a 360 that involve pivoting rotation, but you could simply insert a repeater(hi or low intensity)to avoid the rotational motion.

How about this....if any move in the video of your choice gives you a problem, post back and I will find a substitute move that can be used in place of it(yet keep you on the same leg and intensity as everyone else). Good Luck!
