What exercises are good to *increase* muscle in the hips? How much weight do you recommend? (I know, most women want to reduce the size of their hips.)
 
Hi Mariela! Actually the exercises for building muscle in the hips are the same for everyone. When people say they want to reduce their hips they are generally referring to losing body fat in that area, not lean muscle tissue.

Squats would be your best primary exercise. Using heavy weight, increase your calorie and protein intake slightly, get plenty of quality sleep and stay hydrated. This is a quality environment for building lean muscle mass. Good Luck!
