Why PLB/PUB??

Ok ladies, I need to know. If I have most of Cathe's weight workouts except for the pyramids, do I really need those??? What can they do for me that the other one's can't? I read that everyone likes those very well and I am considering them, but what kind of difference will they make? What results do you see from them that you don't see from the others? I guess I need convincing. Thanks for your help :)

I have all her other weight workouts and like all of them. I just really like the way the pyramids feel for my body. I also like the fact that if I'm pressed for time I can heavy up and just do pyramids up and still get a great workout. I find myself using these a lot. I just really like the moves, the music, and as always Cathe and her beautiful smile. She is so genuine!

Roylene,
I hope I can help. I am biased because this is may favorite weight work out w//Cathe. My husband has worked out w/all of her strength tapes and these are his favorites too.

Pyramids & S&H are different from Cathe other strength work outs. It allows you to get stronger and really work the body parts. I noticed my muscles more when I use PUB. I also enjoy the music & exercises.

If you like working w/weights, I think you will enjoy working your muscles in a different way.

You will never know the pain of pyramids until you do it. I couldn't move for days afterwards! Oh the pain...love it! You will see results from these workouts. W x

The pyramids remain my favorite weight workouts. I will put them away for some rotations and then come back to them. When I do this, I am pleasantly sore after returning back to the Pyramid workouts. These are what I reach for more often than S&H and more often than the PS series if this helps.

The Pyramids give me strength and definition results like nothing else. Part of it is the motivation factor - I love everything about these workouts (music, pacing, sequence of exercises, the exercises themselves) so I really look forward to doing them. And part of it is that they will challenge your muscles for both strength and endurance. You will be able to go heavier than you thought you could because you only do one short set of 8 reps at your heaviest weight, so why NOT try to go very heavy? The stability ball work (abs in PUB, floor legs in PLB) is also among the most challenging that Cathe has done.

You will LOVE these workouts - high fun factor and incredible results!

Thanks for your replies everyone. I think I'll have to break down and put in an order. I've been hedging for a while on these but I think they'll be a good investment.

IMO, PLB is the ideal lower body workout: time efficient, hits every muscle group without going overboard, does just enough but not too much.

PUB ties with Slow and Heavy as my favorite upper body workout. Though I modify by using lighter weights on flyes than on presses, and by taking longer breaks between sets sometimes to stretch a bit (as I do with PLB), I love the exercises that are included.

Also, it's the only two-day split routine (unless I'm forgetting one) by Cathe.
