Why did I buy the Dove caramels?

Cathlete
I bought a bag of these yesterday. I can't stay out of them. HELP MEEEEEEE! I think I need to join the the No salt, sweet... checkin, but I guess waiting until I finish the bad isn't ideal huh? :9 :p

Autumn

I hear ya, Autumn (nice to see you posting, btw:) ). I bought a bag of Twizzlers on the weekend. I gave them to my SO this morning to take to work with him so his guys would eat them and they would stop tempting me!

Hi Shelley! I am feelin' a little like the old me these days. I even had a blonde moment last night

Ahhhh, Twizzlers. I can't have those around either. I like food... I am not picky. Last week while I was on my period, I bought DD a some Cheetos twists thingees and discovered I was wrong and do like these. :)

I know what you mean Autumn but for me it is not Dove caramels but Breyer's ice cream (vanilla fudge, cookie dough, or oreo flavors). I tell myself that there is no way that I can keep out of them but everytime I buy a box I think, "this time I'll be good and only eat it once a week, 1/2 cup serving." Needless to say, that rarely happens, LOL.

I know why you bought them......because they are very yummy!!!! I love these, and these are a huge temptation for me too. If it makes you feel any better, I went grocery shopping and there was a sale on Nestle cookie dough (the pre-made stuff) and I bought the double chocolate cookie dough. AUGHHHH! I'm not quite sure what comes over me!!! They are sitting in my fridge right now. I can hear them calling me already....."EAT ME"...."EAT ME".

I bought those Hershey's Hugs and the one's with the caramel in them. They were on sale. I always say "Oh I'll buy them for the front desk at the office or my desk and then they just end up sitting on my coffee table at home. I can't stay out of the Little Debbie's. I buy them to put in my husband's lunch (or so I say). Man I'm really thinking of the chocolate now.

Kimbra

Melissa, you and my DH and DD would ge along fabulously. I have a picture of Sydney when she was ~18 months eating ice cream out of the carton with her daddy.

Robin, we could never shop together. :) You are my kinda shopper.
}(

Kimbra, I haven't tried the Hershey's with caramel. I may HAVE to buy these for comparison purposes only. :7

They are hypnotizing you. Chocolate and caramel both have that power. I'd definitely wait, but I'd eat them in place of an equal amount of clean calories, but that's just me. Skip dinner. Actually, that's not true. I used to do that but lately, I have overcome the power of both chocolate and caramel. I'd get rid of those suckers. Find some skinny person and hand 'em over. :D

Yes, I am under the spell, but I ate only 2 yesterday. I savored 'em. I confess, I eat junk in place of clean calories. Not like I did pre-babies and pre-30s. I at half a Turtle Cake one time for dinner but that years ago. Unfortunatley, I love to bake sinful dessets and DH isn't a sweet fanatic except ice cream. Well, he enjoys my Bailey's Irish Cream Cheesecake, but I get stuck eating most of my desserts.

Bobbi, the day before was more than two! I think 1/2 bag of the caramels with a few Dove chocolates. Opps! I could feel my strength to resist slipping away yesterday, but accountability saved me. It is that AR thingee I have. :)
