Why are my resistance bands so much shorter...

than the ones Cathe uses in LIC and B&G? Is it just a "brand" thing? If so, which ones specifically does Cathe use? For example, my bands aren't long enough to add to the barbell for bicep work. Maybe that's not such a bad thing :D

Thanks to anyone that can help.

Thanks for the info...

see, I bought mine at a great price too....live and learn I guess. I'll be on the look out for the 6ft length. Thanks again.

Next time you buy them make sure there are 6 feet in length. Sometimes when you buy them in the prepackaged length they are only 4 feet. I believe Cathe uses the brand Dyna-Band which are from the UK. Here in the US they are called Thera-bands. I am pretty sure that they are made by the same company called The Hygenic Corporation. Some gyms sell Thera-Bands right off the roll so you can buy them as long as you prefer. Which would probably be cheaper too.

www.fwonline sells dynabands and therabands (two different bands, I think the therabands are non-latex). They have both 4' and 6' lengths, as well as longer rolls that you can cut your own lengths from.

The four-foot bands drive me crazy. I've gotten a couple as "freebies" in different packages and they are almost useless except for moves like the scalpular retraction.
