As far as stand up goes, by far, is Robin Williams. His last special had me in tears I was laughing so hard. I don't really have a favorite female right now. I don't watch enough stand up comediannes to make a choice. I can think of one that I thought was very funny, but I don't remember her name. So, that is where I'm at there.

Pretty much anybody from "The Daily Show" - Lewis Black, Stephen Colbert, Mo Rocca...

Although I've only seen him once, let's throw Eddie Izzard in there too.

As a child of the sixties myself, Robert Klein just busts my sides. His recent HBO special had me rolling on the floor, especially his number called "Senile Dementia". I also adore Martin Short and Bill Murray.

Rita Rudner is one of my all-time favorite comics. For a completely different kind of comedy, I admit I like Judy Tenuta, and Roseanne Barr is great too! She isn't around much anymore, but I used to know some of Elaine Boozler's bits by heart ("Don't men know that chocolate has an expiration date?")

I've stolen many lines from many comics over the years. I'm a big fan of comedy!:+

Gallagher!! That man is the funniest, and still manages to be clean about it. I wish I could see him live, but I do have all of his stuff on video and it is the best thing to watch folding laundry:)
 
Speaking of comedy, I just wanted to say that though it is still in its first season, Fox's Arrested Development is my favorite TV show of all time. It is HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!
