I just can't decide! They're both so beautiful but so different.

The Kennedys were gorgeous, & so classy, & def. had that hint of royalty about them.

The Obamas are gorgeous, but more real & relatable, if that makes sense.

The Kennedys were kind of distant & regal, the Obamas aren't afraid to roll up their sleeves & work their buns off. The Kennedys, esp. JFK, seemed kind of frail & in need of pampering. The Obamas are so full of vitality & the picture of health & strength.

OTOH, JFK was a flippin cheater & everyone knew. I think if Barack cheated Michelle would kick his a$$ six ways to Sunday. She could do it too, w/those delts.

I voted for the Obamas because their relationship seems to be based on genuine mutual respect, and boundless love. The way they look at each other & their body language together really says a lot. :)

The Kennedy relationship seemed rather rather one-side IMO. What kind of cad would cheat on his wife the night of his inauguration?? (like JFK did w/ Angie Dickinson)

Definitely the Obamas. Barack has such a beautiful smile, and Michelle is classy, classy, classy! Those daughters are breath-taking too.

The mutual respect and complete sense of love between them is something real. There's no way either of them would cheat on the other. You cheat when that's missing.

ITA with your first comment.

Holy crap--you always crack me up!!! I swear my co-workers thought I was losing it because I was almost on the floor. Even my baby (in utero) laughed (okay--that last part was a lie, but still!!!).

I think thats why Michelle has her mama in the White House, to keep an eye on Obama around all those young willing interns...there are a ton of them in DC...she already looked a little fed up with the attention by the last dance last night...it was late though, I would have been fed up too.

Although regal and all that, the Kennedy's was a marriage of convenience anyway. He married her when he decided to run for policital office - she was the "right" girl for the job, so to speak. For the Obamas it's all genuine. That's what I so love about them - you can see they genuinely love and respect each other. It's very cool!

Yes Jackie was a bit like Princess Diana. They needed a pretty face to complete the picture. I think that had JFK lived she would have kicked his a$$ out as soon as they were out of the white house. But my vote is for the Obama's. They're just adorable.

Hey! I'm choosing not to be so cynical! I think JFK & Jackie were in love. But I agree he wasn't ready for marriage, & might not have ever been--probably he would've been quite content playing the field his whole life. Well, he kinda did play the field his whole live.

Jackie did OK anyway when she added the "O" to her name. ;)

Yeah, the Obama's relationship has much more depth. But on the surface I'm still not sure who's more beautiful.

There was no one like Jackie O - she was in a class by herself.

I completely agree!
Classic, elegant beauty.

The Obama's. Hot as the Kennedy's looked, Camelot was just a big fraud. In the end, JFK was a wh*re and Jacqueline was nothing but his personal doormat. She really suffered and I believe you don't make a habit of inflicting pain on the one's you promise to love unto death. Jackie was a calculated pick by a man who wanted a wife who would impress everyone, from ordinary people (she spoke, I believe, 5 languages, making her a real asset when campaigning in ethnic neighborhoods filled with non-native speaking people) to foreign dignitaries. She had the look, the education, and the breeding. Jack was oblivious to Jackie's pain over her own father's chronic infidelities because she was nothing more than a prop to him. Whenever a cheap tramp was around he ditched her to run off. As an aside, I swear I've never been able to fully grasp why anyone thought he was a great president. As far as I can see the Peace Corps, excellent public speaking, and an attractive appearance were his only accomplishments. As time has passed and we've all learned the real truth, it amazes me anyone still clings to the fantasy about their marriage.

On the other hand, way back when Barrack Obama accepted the nomination, they put the camera on Michelle, up in her balcony seat. She was staring hard at her husband, with her palms pressed together, against her face... Her expression was one of such passionate love. I know he'd said that way back when he first wooed her she wasn't all that interested in him. He felt it was because she saw him as a skinny, obnoxious kid with big ears, so he had to be persistent. When I saw the expression on her face that night, as he gave the most powerful speech, I felt she was thinking 'He's the love of my life. I can't believe I ever turned This Man down.' Wow. Their love for each other is dear and real. Nothing about their coupling is for show.
