<--first stopped hating winter weather when she moved to the city 13 years ago and now loves it
<--was obviously born to be a city girl

<--wishes good weather for Connie, says if it gets slippery remember not to overuse the breaks-tap them, and the preferable way to slow the vehicle is to down-shift which you can even do in an automatic by shifting briefly into D2 or D3, then use the breaks to stop. Downshifting can also be helpful in getting a purchase in ice and snow if you are stuck and can't get going. Just remember to put it back in D once you're on your way.

<--knows this is frustrating
<--DH had a root canal and crowning that took over 9 months to finish because the dentist kept "working" him in without appointments and then insisting on making porcelein (sp?) instead of gold like DH wanted. Thus the temps kept either cracking or falling out and the porcelein crown kept cracking as well when he bit down on them.x(
<--was NOT impressed with said dentist
<--quickly changed when the crown was complete (using gold)
<--hopes all those commuting in the winter weather makes it safely to their destinations
<--hopes Shelley has a grand day out with Ms. Sophie at the Farmer's Market!
