Who Looks Like you?

40something's comment to me about looking like her sibling reminded me that I am often being asked If I am 'the lady' on The Sopranos. A few days ago it happened again. I was asked if I was Edie Falcone and when I replied no, she asked if I get asked that question very often.

So, Sunday, DH was flipping channels during FB game and he said he was watching me on TV. He was watching The Sopranos. Even DH thinks she looks like me!

I used to get Sporty Spice all the time, which was insulting because I think she was the least attractive of the Spice Girls. I've also had several people comment on my looking like Ellen Degeneres. I was riding my bike through the park one day and a little boy yelled "you look like that Ellen on TV!". And another friend calls me Ellen. I don't see it, mind you, but then again, do we ever?

I was at a pub once when the band leader stopped playing, looked directly at me, and said, "Do you know you look exactly like Gloria Estefan?" She's so pretty, I was flattered but I don't see it at all.

When I was younger (and heavier, suprisingly) I had any number of people think I was the second daughter from the Roseanne show, Sara Gilbert. I even had a couple of kids follow me around a store once and try to get an autograph.

My DH thinks I look like Loretta Switt from MASH. I don't mind the comparison, actually. Now Angelina Jolie, or that pro wrestler on Dancing with the Stars - the blond with the LONG legs? I'd love to look like her!
 
Wendy, I do see Elizabeth Shue! She has a natural beauty, just like you, too! :)

Shelley, I don't see Ellen at all! But I do see Sporty, don't take that as an insult! She is my favorite Spice Girl. Actually, she is the only one who didn't dress like a slut, IMO. :p And she has the best music post-spice girls! :)

I get Sara Jessica Parker alot. Strangers have come up to me and told me that. I don't see it AT ALL.
 
I've been told on quite a few occasions that I look like Kim Darby in either True Grit or Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark.

I was told once that I look like Dorothy in The Wizard Of Oz:eek:

Looking in the mirror, I don't see either of them.

Judy, looking at your second picture (the real one), I can definately see a resemblance to Edie Falco:)
 
Funny topic! Well, as I said on the other thread...I have that Girl-Next-Door type of face so hardly a month goes by that either someone I know or a stranger will tell me that I look like their sister, their cousin, their aunt...their old girlfriend...fortunately no one has told me I look like their grandma yet!!!

I have very long brown hair. DH's one aunt always tells me I look like Jane Seymour. Did I mention she's a little nutty? Okay, but I'll take my compliments where ever I can get them!!! Jane Seymour is far better than someone telling me I look like their AUNT!:eek:
 
People always used to tell me I look like Dana Plato from the old show Different strokes. Not the first person I would choose to look like, but oh well.

I used to hear Mariah Carey (early 90's--not now!!!). Nobody says it anymore cause they probably can't remember that she used to look normal :) I feel bad that I don't have a picture trail or avatar image. These are definately more fun when you can see a pic!

In my younger days, I was compared to Kate Jackson. You may not remember her. She was the smart Charlies Angel.
My DH is always taken for Jeff Goldblum.
 
My husband keeps my picture on his desk and is always showing it off (not complaining, mind you).
One person said I looked like Gloria Estefan, another said I looked like the girl that starred in "flashdance", I think the last name was Beall?
Well I don't think I resemble either, but who cares, I'll take both as compliments!

My mother once told me I am the same type as Jane Seymour although I don't have the big eyes. I do have the small features but I lost the hair a while back. I would love to look like Angelina also. Or Brad fr that matter. No one has told me I look like anyone in a very long time. My husband thinks I resemble Sigourney Weaver but his eye sight is on the fritz and I am not as tall as she. :)

I got valerie bertanelli in high school and in my early 20's. the last person i was told i looked like was catherine zeta-jones. now, i think she is a kook for marrying michael douglas, but i think she is a beatiful woman. i don't see the resemblance as my skin is no where near that pretty, but we do both have brown eyes and dark brown hair styled similar. i did that that chicago hair style she had for a while too. i think that is when it all started....
 
I get Andie McDowell all the time. Also Julia Louis-Dreyfus, but I think that's more the hair & the attitude than the face. ;-)

oooh ....my hubby loves her and I recently found out her birthday is one day different than mine.

I've been told recently that I look like Monica Potter (if you know who she is) and long ago -- when my hair was darker, Carly Simon, Mariah Carey and Mary Tyler Moore. I really don't think I look like any of them!!

I have been told I look like Elizabeth Hurley. I took this as a compliment as I find her to be very pretty - but I don't have blue eyes - nor am I as thin or petite as she;

Oh well - it made me feel good anyways.

Several people told me I look like Halle Berry. I don’t think so, I think maybe because I wear my hair short.

A few weeks ago I went to my auntie 90ish Birthday Party and there was a cousin I have not seen in 20 years. When I got to table she said hello Trese, blah...blah...blah She said I was just telling Ella (her sister) you look like Missy Elliot (the rapper) I almost #### in me pants. I just said oh yeah, really, thinking to myself NEVER EVER had I heard that one before :eek: :eek:

And a few people said I look like Denzel Washington wife. Now, I can see some feature there. But the very lovely, beautiful and fine Ms Berry, yeah right!
