Who is doing the Sept. Rotation?

How is everyone doing after week one of the rotation?

I usually make my own rotations up but decided to try, along with my fitness buddy, Cathe's Sept. rotation. I am starting the 20th! The only thing is that I am not sure I can do 6 days per week (I usually do five most weeks and 6 occasionally). I planned to maybe try and do two 5 day weeks and two 6 day weeks instead. Does anyone have a suggestion on which two workouts to "not do?" I thought maybe those that are doing the rotation might know that one day they were particularly sore, etc.

All tips and hints appreciated!

Christine, maybe you could just do the workouts in the order they are and NOT skip any. In other words, make your month longer??? Just an idea. Have fun!

Came back to say...use your rest days when needed, just pick up where you left off.

I am doing the rotation and loving it. IMO, as far as which workouts not to do I think it would depend on your goal. If you need more weight work you could take out a cardio day, if you need more cardio take out a weight day or alternate every other week. I wouldn't take out the stretching and abwork but that is just what I think.

i'm loving it

and I agree with DebbieH, just do them in order and have a really long Sept (would that make summer last ANY longer?!?) I'm really noticing some nice definition (I was mainly running this summer with a little weights whenever I could get my fanny out of bed in the morning!) and I had forgotten about some REALLY fun workouts!!!
good luck!

RE: i'm loving it

Yes, I agree with Debbie too:) Just go for the five day weeks and use the next workout in line.

I am in week two of this rotation and doing fine. At the end of week one, I needed Sat to be my rest day, so I did the Sat workout on Sun and then started week 2 on Monday. Now today, Wed after 3 days of high impact I will need a low impact day. So I will rearrange the workouts a bit and do ME today and BMax on the ME day.

Many times customizing a rotation is necessary to fit it into an individuals real life situation.

We have a daily check in over at the open discussion forum if you want to see how everyone progresses. I useally post my alterations on the daily thread. Reading other people's progress and alterations can be very helpful for ideas/ solutions.
