Who else loves the MAGIC ERASER...?!?

So, I got married a week ago (YAY!) and my wedding dress got some dirt around the hem and train. I have to wear it again this weekend for my wedding reception (since we got married several hours away, we are doing our reception at home). I did not want to pay mega-bucks to have it cleaned, to just get it dirty again, not to mention the time constraints.

Anyway, the magic eraser cleaned my wedding dress!! I am so impressed with this little household product!!

Congrats on getting married! :)
Yes the magic eraser is great. I can scrub somethings like crazy and they wont come clean and then a swipe with the magic eraser wipes it right off. its kinda freaky lol. I only use it for when something is really stubborn. usually my sinks/counters with water/tea stains etc. didn't think of using it on fabrics. glad it got your dress clean. ;)

Congrats to you!

Aren't these erasers amazing? I even used one to rub off some bad spots from my self tanner. Just don't rub too hard. I think I took off a layer of skin the first timex(

Have fun at your reception!

I love them! They take crayon off the wall when my 3-year old becomes Picasso and so much more. I am curious, though... how do they work? What is in them?

JJ - I never thought of using them to get rid of bad self-tanner spots! What a great idea, which I will be using, since I can never seem to get the smearing of that stuff right!!

Jen - don't ask what is in them. If we knew, we would probably never use them again:).

My DD drew a rather large picture of a girl on my dining table (finished wood) with a Sharpie! Nothing worked -- until I tried the Magic Eraser. It took a little bit of the finish off, but you can hardly tell, and it looks way better than it did with the giant Sharpie girl on it.

Yes, congratulations to you on your marriage.

But what IS Magic Eraser? Where is it usually located in the store (Laundry? House cleaning supplies?)? This sounds like something I should have...

OMG...but have you tried the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser FLOOR SPONGE MOP???

Seriously, I would get down on my hands and knees and use my steam scunci cleaner to do my kitchen floor, when it just wouldn't get clean. And THAT wouldn't always work.

The Magic Eraser Mop was a MIRACLE! My floor looked SO WHITE and clean , SO much better than the scunci and so easy!

I love that thing!

Though I would hesititate to use it on my SKIN? Ummm... I'm thinking that couldn't be good for you..
