Who cares/Strong & sensible 2018

Mary, have you ever heard of getting RickRolled? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rickrolling (lmao, I just watched a related westworld deloros rickroll)
Murphy, more prayers and hugs ((Murphy))
Lisa, ugh! to sick, hang in there to dh making the best of it and no thanks to that windy ride!
Ronne, sounds like a super trip and interesting accommodation. We just stayed at an airbnb in Gainesville- student apartment type housing.
I did PHA today so I felt like a got some good weight training and metabolic fitness in. My weekend hike and kayak trip were great, we saw a manatee, lots of gators and birds.
I need to borrow something to wear for a work social thing at PGA Natl (golfer place). Just shoot me next time I commit to anything other than travel, fitness and outdoors.

Hi ladies

Jody - sounds like a nice trip and loads of great wildlife. Well done on PHA, that's a tough one!

Kept up with the KCMs this week, did Split Sessions over two days, also did FS Cardio Shred and today 30 mins of yoga. Just about what I can manage with work being so busy at the moment.
No great plans this weekend. We've got friends coming for dinner tomorrow night so looking forward to catching up with them.
Have a good one everyone!

Work pga thing done, no harm done, was fun. I did a little bit of walk run today but no real workout. Have a nice weekend all.
Edited to add that I have no recollection of posting that last night! NO MORE PARTIES FOR ME at least not with work people! I still have doms from PHA. Ronne that sounds like a manageable schedule this week but still effective, good job! Waves to all- I'm working the next two days then doing to Daytona to see my Dad. He's getting cataract surg with $$ lens. I hope he has wonderful outcome.

Hello all! Have been missing, just busy and I don’t know with what! Rick Astley put on one of the best shows I have ever seen! Who would have thought???

Ronne, totally forgot about split sessions, I’ll have to pull that one out again. Hope dinner was fun.

Jody, prayers to your dad!

Lisa, you guys get some wind! I had to mow the dang grass this week, I did not miss doing that!

Hello to Tracey and Murphy!

Not much here, kids will both be coming home for a bit in about 2 weeks, getting excited!!!!
Good day to all, Mary

Ugh just lost my post- due to tremble-y arms. FS Shred cardio TS and Push 1 set done. Tomorrow plan is similar but with Pull, 1 set.
I'm playing hooky today, begged for first cancel since we were over staffed and I'm home today.

Mary, I hope your lawn care lasts you at least a month. My kid coming home this week, too. She has a summer job in the area looking at sea bird nests on condo roofs (what it sounds like anyway). Don't you have a lot of Euro action going on this summer?
Tracy, I hope the puppy is OK.
Waves to all, and maybe tomorrow I'll have another cathe to report. My entire April calendar was blank!

Hi everyone

Jody - Glad you had fun at your do. Fun to do something different? Good workout and plan. After those cardios I don't feel like I can lift any weight at all! Enjoy your DD.

Mary - glad you enjoyed Rick. I went to see Arcade Fire with DH a couple of weeks ago. Had a blast, I danced almost non-stop.

Weekend was nice, had a good natter with friends and stuffed ourselves silly. Then had a lovely lazy day on Sunday. Both DH and DD were out for most of the day. I'd already done loads of cleaning with people coming so I didn't really have any chores, so I just caught up on some TV and reading and that was it. Bliss!
Did LIHI CST yesterday and a Step Blast premix today. I'm trying the May rotation but heavily modified.

Hi all. Sorry to have been away so long. I am trying to get back into the swing of things and it seems so hard to stay consistent. Ugh! I am going to try this month's rotation and see what happens. Wish me luck. I am also trying to train for a 5k - wish me extra luck!

Waves to all.

Murphy

Hello! Today did RWH legs, yesterday did an Yvette.

Murphy, I wish I liked running, I wish you a boatload of luck and perseverance!

Ronne, I love time alone without a list of duties, it is perfection.

Jody, does she get paid for that??? Yes, DD is going to Italy, she so psyched! DS will be in Chicago. We are so blessed, they let us visit them in the best places!

Lisa, are you on your bike somewhere???

Hi Tracey!

Last night went to DD’s band concert, so beautiful. Tomorrow I get to go to an All City Band Concert, 5Th grade through high school, I’m not as excited about that one. Good day to all! Mary

I’m still here, just coughing and blowing still, going on 2 weeks, ugh. So I’ve basically been resting but did get 3 easy bike rides in, it was good getting out in the nice weather for a mental reset from my bed. I got so much watched on the dvr then I did get an easy quilt top put together and finally finished a quilt on the longarm frame, that wears you out, especially when sick! Now it’s been raining for days. I’m tired of coughing and blowing!

Jody, that’s an interesting job for your dd. Mary, your kids are getting interesting experiences in college! Ronne, I tried to picture you dancing the night away. Murphy, hope you get your groove back!

Hi all

Lisa - sorry to hear you're still ill. At least the weather isn't tempting you outside!

Mary - enjoy your concert!! Sounds like the older kids have got some great adventures planned for the summer. Does your youngest get jealous?

Murphy - look after yourself!

So, yesterday was 4DS KB just the legs and abs, then today I did LIHI BSB (minus the S). Weather seems to be picking up a bit at last. It's been all over the place. We even had the heating on for an hour on Tuesday evening! Not much else to report. I'm keeping a low profile, spent a fortune on credit cards recently so trying not to do much or spend much!!

Pre workout self centered stream of consciousness post here-
I will pre order the new series but considering the down loads too. Perhaps stick to DVD and if/ when I am ready to make the jump, just do the subscription service, that way I don't need to store the digital clutter.
DD Jill and I have officially chosen to go back to London July 2 through 10 we purchased tix a few days ago (speaking of $$ on credit cards). She is promo to 4th deg Black Belt this month!
Dad's eye surg was successful. He bought the upgraded lenses implant and should be glasses free. LOL we joke he better not die before he gets his money's worth.
DD Carly is home and getting ready for 1st day with Fish Wildlife Commission. Surveying for nests/seabirds. Prayers for good first day.
What workout today?
FS abs followed by 2 of the tabatas from TTM, and then most of Pull 1 set from FS done.
Murphy, best of luck to you on your training and prayers you always find the best medicine for your body!
Lisa, that sounds like one miserable cold. Maybe you should quilt yourself some nice hankies? LOL.
Mary, I hope your other band concert was enjoyable, too. Have you started planning Italy?
Ronne, I need to learn to just appreciate the relax days and not mar them with my guilt and angst.

Hello girls! Today did an Yvette workout, yesterday was a walk. DD comes home today!!! For about 3 weeks, then she goes to Italy. DS comes home Sunday, until June.

Jody, I think you are going to become a Brit! Hope DD enjoys her first day.

Ronne, I avoid any online shopping! I could do some damage.

Lisa, your quilting is just beautiful! No wonder your wrist hurts!

Hello to Murphy and Tracey!

So beautiful here, the leaves have all popped over the last few days, the colors are so vibrant, it’s like a picture, good day to all! Mary

Dh and I did some cycling fri, sat and sun. Today was a rest day. I was sore and couldn’t figure out why, duh, cycling. Still doing shorter rides but able to add in more hills, I’m wiped for the rest of the day. Still coughing quite a bit, especially when exercising.

Mary, all I do is online shopping. I needed a lot of Velcro, didn’t feel like searching the store, Amazon to the rescue. My hand is better now that I’m using my new longarm machine.

Ronne, it’s easy to splurge and then keep on splurging. Sometimes I have to consciously reign spending in. I’m currently in the reigning in phase. 2 of my library books came available but I don’t feel like reading a lot. It seems I pick a lot of books based in England or maybe just English authors? Whatever it is, had to look up the word that you all use for acetaminophen! It’s fun seeing words you’ve used, as an example shattered. Looking up that word didn’t give the context that you all use it for. I guess the reading subs for me not traveling to England like Jody!

Jody, lol on making hankies. I’m down to just a couple tissues a day now, if I can just get rid of this nagging cough! I’m getting better at not feeling guilty on the rest and relax days.

Hi Ladies

Busy, busy, busy here. Been getting in the workouts. The weather has improved tremendously so been getting outside a bit more. Good to see all your news. Apologies for brief post. Will be back on Friday probs with more time.

Lisa - what is acetaminophen?

Hello friends! Today did a Cathe live, have been working out. Have spent time with DD, just staring at her! Have missed her, DS comes home Sunday.

Ronne, enjoy the weather. Acetaminophen is , I believe your paramectol? I have the spelling all wrong I’m sure.

Jody, how is DD enjoying the birds? I’m not sure about ordering the new ones, with Cathe live and YouTube and all the dvds I have, I’m sure I will because I don’t like to feel left out!

Lisa, I love English authors and Irish ones too! Rosoin Meaney is my absolute favorite!

Hello to Tracey and Murphy! Happy Mother’s Day to all of you! Mary

Hi all! I've been cycling every day, finally started feeling better by Thursday and boy did I see a difference in my riding ability! Today, Saturday, we have a raining day, perfect for a rest day and I needed it after yesterday's bike ride. I told DH to pick an easy ride, ha, his idea of easy is somewhere interesting so we rode toward the mountains, they're so pretty. Attaching an picture.

Ronne, Mary answered, can't believe she knew! When I read the word I was like what the heck is that?

Happy mothers day tomorrow to all! Youngest DS is coming over, I'm cooking aren't I lucky?

Hi fit babes and Happy Mother's Day to you all! I hope each of you get spoiled by your loved ones. Although I don't know how you got talked into cooking on this day Lisa....

Hi Ronne! Glad Spring arrived for you, it finally did here today! We had some days that were warm and then we'd plunge back down to rain and cooler temps. Turns out we had the 3rd wettest April on record this year! I'm glad you had a great time in Madrid despite your unusual sleeping quarters. A day of culture followed by beer and tapas would be a perfect weekend for me, especially if it was in another country! I'm jealous you saw Arcade Fire, I would have been dancing too! DH and I do not share the same taste in music so we don't see bands. It's still something I wish we had in common but we have lots of other things in common so I enjoy my music on my own. I LOVED your lazy Sunday. DH told me I used to stay in my jammies on Sundays when we were first dating 20 years ago. I don't even remember that because it's certainly not that way anymore! That's why I want to retire, right now!

Glad you got some mini tramps Jody for all of that work you've been doing! I think mini tramps are better than bitcoin 'cause I can't afford bitcoin. And I can't hold it in my hand either. I have never heard of getting Rick-rolled before, that is hilarious! Glad you had fun at the PGA social work thing even though you don't remember your post and have banned yourself from further parties. No harm done! I'm glad your dad's cataract surgery was successful. My dad had that surgery a couple of years ago and it too went well. I think he's lived long enough now to get his money's worth! So happy for you that you are going to London this summer! Again, I will live vicariously through you on your trip! And the next time you have free time and feel guilt and angst, please ask yourself why and work it right out of your head. You deserve peace of mind!

So good to see you Murphy! You rock with your positive attitude, living life and training for a 5k! I've never done a 5k, nor trained for one so I wish you double luck with it!!

Hi Mary! I remembered Rick Astley's hit the second you mentioned his name! I'm glad his concert was one of the best you've seen. You mentioned doing a Cathe Live that had vertical loading. What is vertical loading? I have to give you kudos for not doing online shopping--that's incredible! I've done a whole lotta purchasing online and am grateful I could. I am not in a big city with all the great stores! Enjoy your college kids and visiting them this summer! I laughed when you talked about Cathe'e new workouts. I think you have FOMO!

Lisa--89 MPH winds in your area? That's scary!! I'm glad you did not attempt a bike ride that day! I doubt pet insurance would have helped us because Riley has a pre-existing condition. I think Madrid sounds exotic because it is in a different country while S. Dakota is not! Keeping my fingers crossed that DH is treated well throughout his time at work. I'm sorry you got sick, but you are one of the most productive sick persons I've ever known! LOVED the photo of the pretty flowers, rocks and best of all, Suki!!

So, Riley's infection is gone--yippee! We went back to the eye specialist this week to see how his cataracts are. Fortunately, they have not progressed. But Riley is in his adolescent rebellious stage and tried to bite the doctor. Numerous times! So no surgery scheduled. Yet. $150 later, we have a new cone (he's grown!) and tranquilizers (for him, not me I'm sad to say). We have to cone him for a week and put eye drops in 3 times a day. This is just practice! We will see how he does and let the doctor know. I've decided to give him the tranquilizer because I'm tired of fighting him. He is a fun, loving, playful pup in all other respects. I just really want his vision fixed so we can move on with our lives! Like you said Ronne, no more trips for a while!

Except I bought tickets to visit a friend in CA back in November so I will be heading down there on the 22nd. It cannot come soon enough! I still take Basil out for a run a few times a week and workout when I can. I'm doing the FS/X-Train rotation every other week now and since the weather has been better, Yard Max too. Well, I've done the bonus burn Weed Max more than anything. I also ordered the new dvds because I have FOMO too! I'm not really a download person because I've had the Beachbody workouts just stop in midstream and I've had to start them over again. And if my internet is down, so are my workouts.

Take care fit babes! Tracy

Hello

Tracy - glad to hear the pup is better. He sounds like a handful. I will be preordering as well, I think this new series sounds right up my street! Weed Max, Mow Max and Clean Max are all regular workouts for me as well!

Lisa - love the photo! The sky is the same colour here today. We're having a burst of nice early spring weather. I'd never heard of aceta-wotsit before. Do you say ibuprofen or something else for that as well?

Mary - hope you're enjoying time with the older kids. It's nice to hear that you and Lisa enjoy reading British authors - I sometimes feel like our language is becoming so Americanised I'm glad you can still see the difference.

So, I've been really busy with work recently. I was at an all-day meeting in Manchester yesterday, I went up on Sunday and went to stay with my parents as it was a good opportunity to pop in on them.
Been fitting workouts in as and when. Feeling quite a lot of niggles again so just trying not to push it too much. The weather is lovely, I just bought a couple of small garden chairs and table to put out. They fold away so are much more practical for our small garden.
Mow Max is on my list for the end of the day!

Hi all! I'm having trouble getting the workouts in but I did do TBGS today (skimming over what I consider the fussy bits and keeping it in good amount of time for me). I'm off for eye surgery number two for dad today. My mom wants to do Ohio again for her alumni gathering on Aug 8 so I may be booking that very soon.
Lisa that is a pretty pic! My dd put some plants into my patio area for me. I'm glad you guys got back out there and are feeling better.
Tracy, that sounds like a lot going on and I hope for the best possible outcomes for your new pup! Ooops I didn't order the new workouts but intend to so will do so before any price increase. I've spent loads on flip flops (?!) recently and maintenance on dd car.
Ronne, you have sounded busy with work lately; definitely and ebb and flow. There has been a lot of royals focused tv and press here lately. Take care of your niggles! I think I might feel some twinges from TBGS- I don't do legs too often.
Mary, I looked up that author you mentioned, I might try her. DD seems to be doing well so far. I'm super excited for her. She's been hauling a boat on a trailer, climbing roofs and doing a lot of contact with the public stuff as needed. Oh and checking nesting sites! Enjoy your olders!

Hello

Bit more time today.

Jody - glad to hear DD is having fun. Hope your dad's eye surgery goes well. Can't quite picture how you spend a lot of money on flip flops (?) but I guess they are the footwear of choice in your parts!

Did a premix of ME today, the express one. It didn't feel particularly express ... I huffed and puffed through it and really struggled. My HR was at cardio levels. I had two cups of coffee this morning instead of one and worked out earlier than normal so I'm blaming it on that.
