Who Cares? Springing into April

Hello

Roxie - hoping everything goes well for mother and baby.

Lisa - so are you laying off activity till the injection?

Murphy - good to hear you've got the harder part finished. I bet you're looking forward to getting your basement finished.

Mary - wow! Sounds like an interesting evening.

Really needed my yoga today. Haven't done any for a few days and I really felt like the lack of it. Working on headstand, I managed to get up! Wobbly but I did it.
DH is away for a couple of days for work so it's just me and DD.

Hi all. Started doing total metabolic body whatever of ICE but then the family kept bothering me. I ended up just doing the first 15 min and then abs. Not a complete loss but still.

Roxie- congrat's on the baby; prayers out to all of you.

Murphy

Good Afternoon,

I did KCM Stepbox Premix Kickbox and Weights. Dd said they took the oxygen off and he is eating on his own everyone is doing well

DH and I went bike riding for 13.5 miles, I was feeling really blah before and not really wanting to go, so glad I did, I feel much better! Ankle doing ok so going to add another day of PT exercises in. Last week I did 3 days in a row of the PT exercises, but also walking dog 1 mile and walking in walmart, not sure which part was too much, my guess is walking. I still don't have a fluid walk and my back is also messed up from walking with most effort going on my right so I'm going to concentrated on biking until injection time. Ronne, wow, a head stand is impressive! Roxie, congrats on grand #3, so glad everyone is ok! Mary, I bet you had a great time hobnobbing with the college people.

Hello

Roxie - that's good news! Have you seen him yet?

Murphy - something's better than nothing!

Lisa - sounds like you overdid it again!

Did some Amy Bento step and abs with a kettlebell. It was fun.
The sun is shining and I've got washing out!

Ronnie-we got to see him through the nursery window but today I get to bring them home from the hospital so cuddle time

Went for a 10.5 mile bike ride, this had double the elevation gain as yesterdays so tougher even though less mileage. Ronne, really doesn't take much to overdo it. Hopefully the prp injection helps this heal faster (like a 20 yr old :) ) Roxie, glad GS is doing well! Hello to everyone else.

HI all! Today did a Cathe live weight workout. Roxie, so glad to hear about GS! Enjoying that little one! Lisa, you are taking some long rides! You guys have lots of hills? Murphy, mine still bother me when I'm working out and they are almost grown ups! Ronne, we have sun too! Everything is finally turning green! Have to get to track meet. They are a little painful! Mary

HI all. Did an old Crunch pilates dvd. Short on time - my own fault.

Roxie - glad to hear the good news.
Ronne - Amy Bento is supposed to be at KCM's "road trip" (also here in NJ - not attending)
Mary - do you think the Cathe live's are worth the money?
Lisa - feeling better?

Murphy

Hello

Roxie - have fun with the new baby.

Lisa - at least you've got your bike.

Mary - you love your Cathe live.

Murphy - that would be great, I'd love to go to that.

Yoga again today, one I did a week or so ago and I'd made some improvements. Work very quiet today, so relaxing and catching up with some reading.

8 mile bike ride, elevation less than yesterday but more than the day before :) I'm getting bicycling in while we have nice weather....a big rain/snow event coming fri afternoon, so hoping to get one more ride in Friday morning! Mary, Oh my do we have hills! There is no such thing as a flat ride! And to top it off, the trails north from our house requires a big (for me) climb back right when you're most tired! I must admit I'm pretty proud of the hills I'm doing, even if DH says the next day "no, I'm not sore, should I be?" grrrr. Ronne, reading anything interesting? I think I finally found a book to capture my attention (I've had a few ho hums), reading Plain Truth by Jody Picolt. Murphy, As long as I don't walk too much my ankle is ok, PT did say that it's good I'm doing the PRP injection and that it isn't too early to do it. Here's so hoping it works! I am starting to feel good effects after dry needling....the muscle is so much looser in my leg .....I'm almost thinking of trying it on my neck!

HI girls! Today did today's Cathe live, a circuit. Murphy, best $10 I spend every month! Well worth the investment. Lisa, that makes your bike rides all the more impressive! Especially with your ankle! Hills are HARD! Ronne, enjoy the quiet! Murphy, how's that baby? Well, we leave tomorrow, I'll talk to you all next week! Have a good one! Mary

Hi everyone

Mary - have a great trip!

Lisa - it's really impressive all the cycling you're doing and uphill is a b*&^%! I used to cycle to work many years ago and I hated it! Barely been on a bike since. This might sound like a joke but I'm actually reading War and Peace at the moment. There was a TV serialisation of it earlier this year which was fantastic and it made me want to have a go at the book. I think it's really helped, not sure if I would have stuck with it if not. I'm coming up to about 600 pages through ...

Wanted a lighter day today so did first half of Rumble. Out this afternoon for a work meeting, very unusual!
Quiet weekend ahead, nothing much happening. I need to cut the grass again.

Hello?

Keeping going with the workouts. Did the final yoga session on Sunday of my programme. Then yesterday was Tabatacise (3 rounds) and today yoga again.
Not much else to report ...

HI all. I did S&G yesterday and CSS today - or most of them I should say (no UB stuff, shoulder acting up). I should probably make an appointment with the doctor about my shoulder. As if I don't see the doctors enough. Ugh.

Ronne - way to go with the workouts
Lisa - how was the injection

Waves to all.
Murphy

Hi all, my body was tired and sore after all that cycling, add in snow this past weekend and I just relaxed! Monday had a migraine so finally today I did XT CBS. Murphy, if it isn't one thing it's another, hope shoulder is ok. Injection is Friday. Ronne, we cut the grass the day before the snow came, got a foot! Mary looks like she had a good time in Boston!

HI all. Did Great Glutes today. I started the bonus chair routine but was running out of time. I am working off an old rotation - 2013 or 2014. ???

Lisa - hope you are feeling better. Migraines stink.
Waves to all.

Murphy

Hi all! We are home! Had such a nice time, the school is beautiful and so is the city. Mi think he will be happy there. Did loads of walking there, today did Cathe live, fitness fusion. Lisa, hope you are feeling better. Do you have to do anything special to prepare for the procedure? Murphy, how's your shoulder? Is it your purse side? That can be so aggravating! Roxie, how is that baby? Ronne, where are you hiding? Have to run to shower, just cleaned and finished the wash, have to get dogs from groomers, take one to dentist, track meet and get the other to his night class! Yikes! Better stop dawdling! Mary

11 mile bike ride, again didn't want to go, feel better after. Suki really loves running for a bit then in the basket for a bit. It tires her out more than walking so I can see a place for biking in our outside time but gosh I'd like to walk too! Mary, you looked like you had a good time. Nothing much to prepare for injection, just no ibuprofin or anti-inflammatories for 2 weeks and then 4 weeks after. My aches and pains are coming out with no ibuprofin! I felt 90 getting out of bed this morning! Then the day before I have to increase my water intake for easier blood draw. Murpjy, I think I have Great Glutes from the bike! Gotta run, PT today and dry needling...

Hello

Mary - glad to hear Boston was a success. I bet DS is really excited about it now.

Lisa - is it hard work cycling with a dog in the basket? Hope the PT works.

Murphy - good workouts!

I'm sort of vaguely following the March rotation but subbing in yoga when I feel like it. Had the day off yesterday as I was out and about. Today did MM. It's a long time since I did it all the way through. It was all fine apart from the static lunges, I could really feel it in my glutes so I may have DOMS there tomorrow ...
