<--was really tired from city trip and walked about twenty miles all over Manhattan

<--reports that SO went on fishing trip so <-- decided to have own adventure
<--hung out with friends and walked around midtown 9and a little uptown too) and Greenwich Village area, meandering through restaurants, shops, the Met (<-- likes to gander at the real Monets every so often) and the AWESOME Strand bookstore
<--came out three days later with new books and then went to the Blue Note to hear the Charles Tolliver Big Band
<--saw a rat in Washington Square Park that was about the size of a small possum...yet looked a little like a woodchuck so <-- christened him "RatChuck"
<--thinks Liann would have liked Mr. RatChuck
<--also enjoyed music and people watching in Central Park while reading a book and sipping giant water bottle
<--spent a good chunk of time alone while friends worked and didn't mind it at all
<--hopes <-- didn't bore yous all
 
<---says quiet seems to be the norm here lately
<---thinks it has something to do with poor sleeping habits
<---agrees that Beav's weekend sounds smashing

<--- apologizes for the quiet but isn't feeling so rowdy these days
