Which workouts have you done so far?

I am really looking forward to November's rotation with LIS - but what I really want is a rotation with LIS and STS! I will be starting up STS again in the New Year!

I know! I'm week 3 of meso 2 and I'm not sure how to fit the LIS in. I tried Turbobarre and plan to do it again. I think it's a good workout to add to my leg workouts.

I have only done Upper Body Split from Tri-Sets so far. Loved how my lats and lower abs felt! I had to modify the pushups and the dive bombers, but that just gives me motivation for the new goals I'm going to reach! Tonight I'm going to channel my inner ballerina and try out Turbo Barre! I imagine I'll be following that with Yoga Relax tomorrow ;)!
ISN'T THIS FUN????!!!!! Can't wait to see the November rotation!

Just did cardio supersets!!! Awesome, awesome, awesome!!! I did the whole workout as well as the bonus steps. Sweat was dripping everywhere! I burned close to 700 calories!! Tomorrow I will try Total body triceps and yoga relax.

I have done Cardio Supersets and Turbo Barre. Both were great workouts and a lot of fun. I was so excited to get my box yesterday. I was pretty beat, but I managed to do the Cardio Supersets video, and I am glad I hung in there and got a great workout. I was dripping with sweat, and was surprised at how well it got my heart rate up. Cathe is absolutely the best. I am so excited to do these workouts. I'm looking forward to tomorrow!

I did Athletic Training yesterday and it kicked my butt! I had to take little breaks several times. The first 30 minutes are just straight cardio with very few breaks!

I'm a regular Cathe loyalist, and this one was tough! I guess I've been neglecting my cardio!

Can't wait to try the rest!

I spent the past 2 days learning Low Impact Challenge (I needed to rewind and repeat the most complex moves multiple times to get them down). I encountered an unanticipated problem with flooring in one place in the Bonus Step Routine (which also is included with Cardio Supersets) where you use the slide & glide (S&G) disks while keeping the step. I have a 5 X 8 area rug on top of concrete. In the problem scenario, you place your hands on your step and do burpees with your feet on the slide & glide (S&G) disks. I quickly discovered that my feet will run off the carpet and abruptly stop on the concrete, so I substituted squat thrusts with flying angels (without the S&G disks). Next time I might try pushing the step to the forward edge of the carpet in the hope that it will free up enough space to do the burpees with the S&G disks. I checked the other LIS programs and it appears that this scenario (use of S&G disks along with the step) will be a problem in 2 places in the Athletic Training program but in none of the other programs. It's probably something that can be worked around, but may require pausing the DVD to move the step.

Yesterday, I did Slide N Glide blus the bonus step from Cardio Supersets. Way fun. I have also done Cardio Supersets and Athletic Training. I'm kind of in love with Cardio Supersets. I am also sore sore sore today!

I'm finding the discs don't slide easily on my carpet...they do slide, but it makes me wish for hardwood floors in my workout room. What's it like with others with carpet?

Pam, you crack me up on, "New DVD smell!" LOL!!!

Okay, most of you find it no surprise that I am a fan of ALL Cathe's workouts but let me tell you..she really hit it BIG with this series IMO! I am loving each & EVERY workout in the new series! It is right up there with STS but of course, that's a whole diff type of workout. I think this series will blast fat and really "up" the cardio endurance. So far, I have done:

S&G: sooo much fun! For those of you struggling with the gliders, there is def a learning curve but once you get the feel, they are fun! If you are feeling "drag" on the gliders, I think you just need a remnant of smoother carpet or wood flooring & use the covers.

TB: Love how it gets deep, deep into the muscles and the ABwork is awesome...Cathe even uses the firewalker band!

CM: Be sure to bring plenty of water and maybe an EXTRA towel! My back muscles and hiney muscles are sore today from doing it yesterday. :)

TBTS-UB only: Very unique moves, still need to work on the soldier planks and the cross over leg pushups but that gives me a challenge to accomplish! :D Loved that she incorporated AB/CORE work into the routine.

LIC: I am working on learning the steps as I am very chore-challenged when it comes to step but LOVE the routine, even the warmup is so much fun!!

AB: I JUST finished this one and my face is beet red! Ohmygosh, what a killer workout. I loved it even though I had to take two breaks to catch my breath! I loved the soundtrack...it ROCKED right down to the beautiful song she used for the stretch! Not so sure I like Dixie Cups anymore though! OH MY!

Okay, I don't think I missed any that I've done so far...all-in-all, A WINNING SERIES! LOVE IT!

To date: Turbo Barre, Athletic Training, Day off, Cardio Supersets, Cycle Max (YES), then reading the posts will do Slide and Glide over Afterburn with LIC mixed in. Has anyone done the yoga yet??

I've done Yoga Max and Yoga Relax because I normally include yoga in my workout schedule. I enjoyed them both. Yoga Max was not too difficult but was still a good dynamic stretch workout. I have some low back issues so I was really looking forward to Yoga Relax. As with Yoga Max I could do most of the poses and they felt good. It's a great rest day exercise to rejuvenate your muscles after doing STS or whatever your routine is during the week. :)
