Which workout do I start with?

Good morning, I have been watching some of Cathe's workouts on Fit TV and absolutely LOVE them. They are kick-butt and just what I have been looking for for ever. My one problem is, after receiving the catalog, which workouts do I start with? There are SOOOOOO many to choose from. Maybe it would help though to tell you a little about me and the goals I have.
I am 46 years old and have struggled with yo-yo dieting for the past 25 years. In March of this year I have finally hit my alltime highest weight at 241 lbs. I was out of shape and miserable. I started eating healthy and working out some with the endless videos I have in my "library". I am now down to 190 lbs. and need to tone, build a solid muscle base (to help burn more FAT), get some definition, rev up my metabolism and slim down. I am totally amazed by Cathe's workouts. I have never seen anything like it and need to start. Please advise on how to go about achieving my goals.

Thank you
Heike:)

Hi there! Not Cathe, but just thought I could help-- if you check out the forum called "Video & DVD Rotations" you can find an endless list of options-- all indexed-- depending on what your goals are. If you've been working out to Cathe on FitTV for awhile, I would try her rotation from March 2007 -- it's an intermediate rotation, one that I'm actually in the middle of-- and it's killer, for me at least. There's also a Beginner Rotation if the Intermediate is too challenging.

Congrats on the weight loss-- that is so fantastic! I've been on that same journey myself this year, and so far I'm down 60 lbs all thanks to Cathe. :)

Best wishes to you & Good luck!!!

Thank you so much for your advise and your recent weight loss. It feels absolutely great doesn't it? I can't wait to get started using these workouts. They are the full monty, no kidding around, straight to business, just what I like. I'll keep you posted if you don't mind on my progress.

Not a problem! I'm glad I was a little help at least... Please do keep in touch-- one thing I've learned the past couple of months is that I'm capable of so much more than I thought was possible, just by believing in myself & refusing to get discouraged. Kinda cheesy, but true!

I know you can do it! :7

All the best,
Brighton

I started with Basic Step (that is how I learned about Cathe - yay!) and Low Impact Step.

Good luck!
