Which part do you love and which do you despise?

Wow it is so interesting to read everyone good points. And its nice to know I'm not the only one out there who is very critcal of themself.

I like my feet and I like the little bit of muscle I have in my forarm, I can make it ripple...and thats kinda cool. :) Well as for everything else...needs some work

Love my abs and chest...HATE my legs..Butt's ok though(helps that fuller bottoms are in vogue right now:) )
 
I love my: back (though I don't get to see it that much!), shoulders, and arms (when they are toned, which is not at the moment because I've been slacking, and they need constant discipline!).

I won't say hate, because I've gotten to the point where I don't want to hate anything about me. I'll say "would like to see improvement" in my "belly" (I don't have full abs, except on the upper part. But a "belly" is a very attractive feature to my cat Bobsie, who loves to knead it in the morning. How can I take away that pleasure from her by getting flat lower abs?). Also, that dreaded "thutt fat" area, which I've always had to some extent. But since these are both areas that I've always had "trouble' with, it's kind of senseless to hate them. Kind of like hating whatever height you are, or what age you are, because you can't change these things (though I know I can "improve" the gut and butt areas).

Also, more recently, I am struggling with my tricep area, which seems to want to flap away in the breeze at the slightest laxity in my arm workouts. At one time, there was more flappage, which really bothered me because I felt it when I would write on the board (and since I'm kind of a neo-ludite when it comes to teaching technology--chalk talks are my friend--I had a pretty constant reminder of the situation.
 
Yeah, I have to say the wording on this thread disturbs me.

Bloody years of my life have been wasted in "despising" body parts and starving myself as if that could get rid of the hated parts.

I 'aint going through that negative s**t any more.

I love my eyebrows, I have fabulous legs, long and sleek, I have great cheekbones and my arms are shaping up nicely, thank you. The rest serves its function and the most important thing is that I have greater muscle power than at any previous time in my life. In that I take pride.

Body and "despise" are two words which do not belong in the same sentence.

Until recently, I would have said that my least favorite body part is my tummy. But I've been doing ab work every other day, and my abs are starting to get in shape to the point that I'm starting to look forward to checking out my progress in the mirror.

So, this leaves my inner thighs as my least favorite body part. Everything else is pretty quick to respond to weight training and cardio...but the inner thighs are my little achille's heel. Either that or my chin.

Favorite body part? Hmmm. Either my calves or my triceps. Both respnd very well to weight training.

Hopefully, someday ALL my body parts will be my favorite! :)
 
I don't hate anything about myself. Overall my body is OK, but I could do with a little less flab around my waistline so my abs are visible. Would love that!

I love my upper back. The only part of my body that tells me I'm really working out. To bad I can only see it in the mirror :)
