Which one?!

Ok, I only have enough money to get one dvd. I really want Low Max and then I really want Boot Camp. But I have Muscle endurance on tape, so here's the question. Do I get Low Max, because I'm sure I don't have a workout like it and people seem to love it. Or do I get bc/me beause I don't have another workout like BC and people seem to love it. I'm kind of out of shape compared to what I've been in the past right now. Lots of stuff going on in my personal life, that I won't get into, that has gotten in the way of working out lately. So, maybe I should just get Lowmax right now and wait to get BC so I don't kill myself. What do you think?
Thanks for all your help in advance.

Kathy

It's hard to answer because I like them both, and they are both so different. Do you have some dumb bells, medicine ball (you could substitute with dbs), a high step, and a barbell w/weights? I think that's all the equipment that is needed for BC. If not, then go with LM because all you need is your step. I would try that out on a lower setting while you get the choreography down. Then bump it up to 6 or 8 in.

Good for you - getting back into fitness.

The equipment doesn't bother me, I have everything that I need to bootcamp, because I have the entire Body Blast series and got the equipment that I needed for that, which is everything that you need for bootcamp. I have the CTx Series, I have IMAX 2, Rhythmic Step, Power Max, MIC, and MIS, the Pyramids and Power Hour. So, which one do I get, is what I keep asking myself. I think that I would really enjoy Lowmax, but then I think I would really enjoy bootcamp as well. ARGH!
I forgot to add what I had to my other post, so now you all know what I have. Which one would compliment what I already have? That's where I'm having the hard time. I think that Lowmax would probably be best, but then I think about Bootcamp and think maybe I should get that instead. They are both so different from eachother, that it does make it hard to decide. But for those of you that have both, and from seeing what I already have, which one would you think should be my next purchase?
Thanks again for your help!

I would get Bootcamp. It's more fun, more challenging and gives a more total-body workout. The core exercises alone are worth it.
It must be said I'm not a big fan of step, but for the money, you're getting a lot more with Bootcamp, particularly when you consider the premixes on the DVD - you're getting upper body, lower body, cardio, core, etc. Bootcamp.

IMHO, looking at what you already have, Bootcamp would be a nice addition. Nothing wrong with Low Max...it is a great low impact/high intensity workout, and it is fun. But Bootcamp is more of a change from what you already own, so it might give your body a little (nice) shock.

I like the premixes on Low Max a little more than the Boot Camp premixes. I like Low Max, and I just got BC and that was fun too. I don't have a lot of what you've got so I can't judge.

But, BC is more expensive than Low Max- can you get LM and save the $15 or whatever it is toward the next one? Maybe then the next one won't feel so out of reach! ;) Or, you could preorder one of the new ones and save the shipping on LM.

The other girls made a good point about BC. I just thought since you're easing yourself back into working out LM might be better. BC is one tough work out. Yes, it would definitely shock your system!}( Hey, BC was my very first purchase! Talk about jumping right in there.

Let us know what you end up getting.

I'm sorry ,I might not be much help . But I would order both !!! And Figure out away to pay for it }( }( I say its for your health and well being ,so its something you gotta do !}( It does save on shipping in the end .Ya know after you have your whole Cathe library :) :) :) . I'm figuring out my Next order soon LOL}( }( :) :)

I could do Low Max (or one of it's premixes) every week! But Bootcamp, maybe only once every three weeks. It's a workout you love to hate - or hate to love. :p

Don't know if that helps. Just wanted to be part of the conversation.
