Which of Cathe's Rotations did you get the best results...

Spinin28

Cathlete
I was looking through some of Cathe's old rotations and reading some comments on them. The comments got me thinking and wondering...

So which Cathe rotations got you your best results? Which rotations got you the best:

A.)lower body slimming?????

B.)Upper body definition????

c.)Abdominal definition?????

I have been doing a lot of circuit training the last few months, and I found that I got some great results!

Here is where I was on Febuary 5th, 2005 :
Weight 142.5
Waist 26 1/2 inches
Hips 39 1/2 inches
Upper thigh 23 inches
Lower Thigh 17 inches

Today I am:
Weight:138.5 lbs
Hips: 38 inches (1 1/2 inch drop!!!!!!!Wahooooooooo!! :) :)
waist:26 inches
Lower thighs:16 1/2 inches
Upper thighs: 23 inches still!! >( Arghhhhhhhh!!)

How about you??

P.S. Anyone read the April 2005 edition of Oxygen magazine??
There is an article in there called The Naked Truth..Check out her starting stats(Page 64... If her thighs are 26 inches, then mine are 35!!! LOLOLOL!!!

Hi Denise.

I can't comment on the rotations as I have yet to do one of Cathe's but I just wanted to say good job on the results you have gotten!

Have a great work out!

Hi Denise! Great work!! It's nice to see all your hard work paying off, huh? I've only done one of Cathe's rotations: January, 2004. I wanted to lose about 7 pounds and up my intensity level, and this rotation was extremely effective for that.

Cheers,
Sandra

Denise, I saw the best results with Cathe's December '03 rotation ~ Body Blast. I'm sure I didnt follow it to a T, but noticed a significant difference in my shape. I should have stuck with it, because I don't look like I did then, now. :-( I think my body is changing. **sigh**

You've gotta work hard for what you want. - Cathe in HSC

Slow and Heavy! Actually, I have never followed Cathe's rotation specifically, but currently, I'm doing one body part per day, REVERSE COUNT (6 count negative vs. Cathe's 6 count positive), and I've noticed major definition in my upper body. I've noticed more DOMS when I've done the reverse count.

Here's a link for a previous post that lists a bunch of Cathe's past rotations. Check out the June 03 Muscular Strength one.

Hope that helps,

RE: Which of Cathe's Rotations did you get the best res...

Hi

I have to say I got the best results when I did a 12 week rotation of Cathe's Pure Strength Series a couple years back. I am not the best at sticking at rotations, but when I do I have seen results.

I can't wait to start the Hardcore rotations on Monday.. :D

You look great!!! Keep up the great work. My upper thighs rarely budge in size either!!!!

Beverly

Denise, what was your rotation? Was it a Cathe circuit rotation or one of your own? Those are great stats you got...share more! :) :)

I've never followed a Cathe rotation. The only near exception is doing the Slow & Heavy workouts for a three or four week rotation consistently.

The results from this are fabulous. I can chart the increase in poundage I can lift throughout the series and as a result of it. There is a visible increase in muscle mass and definition, particularly in the shoulder, chest, biceps and triceps.

I did this two years ago, and am in the second week of this rotation again and the results are already visible. Maybe because I am an ectomorph in body type and muscles are hard for me to build in the upper body, but S&H is really the only workout of Cathe's that builds mass for me. Others (CTX upper and PUB) build strength and definition, but not mass.

Perhaps the new Gym Styles can help me with this goal. I shall be trying them next for 3 or 4 weeks.

I really leaned out when I was doing a CTX and Pure Strength rotation. My body really responds well to doing lots of cardio and adding on PS worked each body part 2x a week. I found this rotation back in a old file someone had compiled of Cathe's stuff.
I am planning on doing this rotation again later in the spring after I finish up doing the HardCore's.
Tracy

p.s.
by the way, your stats sound like you and I have the same body.
