Which Firm workouts do you still do?

I just got my BSS3 last night. I am going to try one of the cardio vids today, and I think I am going to do Standing Legs with it. They do look tougher than the other sets, Lisa Kay's cardio workout looks quite tough. I will see today.

I love the new ones.I haven't gotten around to doing lisa's that comes in the set but bought advanced cardio as a add on and love it.But I really love krista's and stehanie's I took the dvd since it's not chaptered and taped to vhs their wotkouts minus the upper and plan to do them straight thru one day.I used 60 and 40lbs for lower and really felt it.

I do just about what you do. The newer Firms are rather easy. I never bother with that stupid stick, never purchased it to begin with. I have found that, for a change of pace, they are a good work out if you increase the weight they demonstrate with. I don't use as much as you do, but I at least double what the instructor is working out with.

I did Vol. #1 today for the first time in about 6 months. I found the floor exercises a bit challenging. The side leg lifts got to me today, but I have an injured hip, and I think that might have been why. (The hip injury is keeping me away from any tall box work.) I definately have tapes I like better, but my old Firms still have a place in my workout routine. I absolutely hate the sets, but I can tune stuff like that out easily.

How do you take a DVD and tape it to a VCR tape??? I would LOVE to do that same thing with all the lower body work, but haven't a clue how. I am totally Cathe for upper body, but I like the Firm for lower body.

I feel the same way about the upper and lower body thing. My legs have come a long way since starting the firm in Jan 03. My arms are getting stronger since starting Cathe 2 months ago. I am also a cardio nut and although Cathe cardio is more intense I love listening to the firm instructors accents and they are all so sweet. I hope the bbs3 has some more intense cardio.

I'm thrilled with the new BSS3 set. The two strength workouts are great and the cardio is good also. The only complaint I have is the cuing in Lisa's workouts.

I rarely do them nowadays, but I kept them all. I'm thinking of doing a classics rotation next week just to see what results I get. Many people on the YaYas forum say they got their best results doing a classics rotation for a month or so. I doubt I'd be able to stick to that rotation for more than a couple of weeks, but I'm tempted to try.

I think Firm lower body workouts + Cathe or P90X upper body workouts is a great combo! The best of both (or all) worlds!)

I still having the old firm 1-6 but I do not do those after I discovered cathe. I used the volume 1 the most.
