Which DVD Do I Buy Next?

Hello:

If you've answered a question from me similar to this, please forgive me. I thought I posted them right, but couldn't find them anywhere so I am not able to read the replies.

My question is this: I have Low Step and Low Max. I love them both but prefer Low Max because it is harder. Low Step was great too especially when you've not done step in decades and need to learn some moves. I also have Cardio and Weights, although I just do the cardio part. I really like it and could do it just fine (It took me a couple of times to get the moves of course.) but the day after I did it my ankles were sore. I have had trouble with my ankles before and when I was doing aerobics years ago, I did low impact. (I do exercise a lot but I do cardio machines and weights so there is no impact there.) I also have IMAX 2. I haven't done that one yet because it seems to be too high impact for me so I haven't done it.

Here is my question: I would like to get another DVD because variety is always nice. Which one(s) should I get? I'm fine with just doing Low Max if the rest of the DVD's are more designed for high impact people. I just thought I'd try to find another one.

Thank you,
Sherri

Sherri, would you consider Cathe's kickboxing workouts? I don't know if you're exclusively a Step Bunny, but if you want higher intensity but lower impact her KB workouts would be good. Also, you do want to vary your cardio modes as much as possible given what you can and cannot handle impact-wise, to keep your body guessing.

Kick Punch Crunch (on same DVD as Legs & Glutes) (Body Blast series)

Cardio Kicks (on same DVD as Circuit Max) (released 2000)

Kick Max (stand-alone DVD) (Hard Core series) (skip the Blast Challenge)

If you have a few extra sous to spend, also consider the Cross Train Express (CTX) series also released in 2000 - this has several kickbox segments including one stand-alone workout (mysteriously titled "Kickbox").

(I hope I didn't say this already.)

Thank you both for your suggestions. I have never done any kick boxing class. It sounds interesting, but I may try it at the gym before I spend the money on the DVD.

Rhythmic step looks like fun. I don't think I'm very coordinated with my feet. I can't dance at all, never have been able to. So, I'm kind of afraid I'll either never be able to get the moves or it will take me a long time to learn them. I may get brave and try it though.

Thanks,

Sherri
