Well... I decided on my next Cathe DVD and I went with the one with these 3 workouts on it!! Wondering which one is the most intense and also, which one would be best for me to start with?? I've been using FIRM for my strength and it has helped me but I still have a ways to go!! I can hardly wait til these arrivebut want to know which workout to try first! Help me out everybody!! :)
Dana

I think the body max workout is the toughest of that three by FAR. the cardio is fast paced and intense and you can make the lower body circuit work really challenging for yourself. then there's an upper body split and ab routine at the end. it has everything and i am spent when i'm done this one!

The other two are quite different esp since they dont have any cardio. MIS is much different than power hour bc with MIS you rest and do fewer reps. power hour isnt necessarily harder than MIS but i would say it is more endurance based while MIS, being still somewhat endurance based is slightly more towards being strength-building. that is my opinion anyway. overall if i had to choose i would say ph is a little tougher than mis but that bmax is the hardest.

Thanks for the info!! That should really help me to decide which one to do first, and I know it WONT be Body Max!! :) I'll have to work up to that one. I'll view each of them first but it's nice to know kinda what to expect.

Good Morning everyone,

I have maximum intensity strength and love it, I feel I get a great all over body work out and drenched when I am finished, I LOVE IT,

BUT, I WAS JUST LOOKING AT THE POLL, maybe I should take another look at power hour and body max. Which of these 2 do you like the best, because I would like it on DVD?.

Thanks for any and all suggesstions:) :)

Debbie

I have another question for you that have and love POWER HOUR AND
BODY MAX,

Do you like them as well as the pyramids?. I also try to use the pyramid dvd a few times a week and alternate with MIS. I ALSO LOVE THE PYRAMID DVD.

I guess I am just trying to get a few good suggesstions for all you cathe die hards LOL.

THANKS EVERYONE.

Debbie
:) :D

Hey there just me again 3rd time is a charm,

WOW I JUST LOOKING AT THE DVD'S AND IT LOOKS LIKE THE MIS, BODY MAX AND POWER HOUR IS A MUST HAVE DVD!!!!. I ALREADY HAVE MIS ON VHS, BUT

I HAVE HEARD SO MANY THINGS ABOUT THIS DVD.

Those of you that have it, do you use it a lot?.

Thanks again:) :) :) :) :)

Debbie

I am considering this dvd as well. I had asked awhile ago how different PH, MIS and ME are from each other. Several people suggested the pyramids since i had ME. But I would like Body Max on dvd. So, I'm still undecided. I have heard so many good things about PH. I think I will have to catch all of these on Fit TV before I make my decision. FitTv is sure helping to make good purchases. Thanks Cathe!:D

Thank you Cathe,

HI fAB40, OH I AM NOT SURE WHAT TO DO NOW. I HAVE MUSCLE ENDURANCE TOO AND THE PYRAMIDS AND MIS, I guess I need to think about it for a while. Maybe what I have is all I really need for strength, what do you think?.

I need to get back to work 8 hours to go ugh. I will check the posts tonight.

Thank you

Debbie:) :)

I was hoping you cathe lovers would have more to say, so I am pleading and asking agian.

Do you think it would be worth my while, my money LOL, to get the dvd with power hour, bodymax, mis if I already have the pyramids upper and lower, I have mis in VHS, muscle endurance, cardio and weights, leaner legs, and many more, cathes new hi step, a lot of new and old step tapes.
I have the ctx dvd, love it.

Just wondering if I need more weight work outs, they sound wonderful by the way, I do love MIS.

I guess I just need you experts, LOL. Which weight work outs do you use the most?. I am not interested in slow and heavy though. I guess I just want to tone and have a little nice definition, but still feminine.

Thanks again

good night
god bless you all

debbie:)

Debbie, I don't think I am really much help, the only ones mentioned that I have are BM and ME. But it sounds like you have a pretty good weight workout selection. If you have CTX series, I doubt you would need BodyMax. So let me confuse things a little more. Which do you like better MIS or Pyramids?

I'm sure other Catheites will help you out. Because I am confused as well. I'm not even sure why I answered this post. MAybe so we could be confused together.:+ :)

Hi Fab40, I hope you are having a good day. I think you are right, I am pretty happy with the few weight workouts I have. I sometimes even just do regular squats and lunges with weights or the barbell. I love muscle endurance too. I think I like the pyramids and MIS the same. I know mis is older but I get a full body work out2. Oh I do love the pyramids, I think they are my favorite, sorry LOL.
Have you decided which of the hardcore tapes you are getting?. I think I want the extreme then I will get a good taste of everything
and the kickbox one for sure and Imax 3.

I love the step tapes too do you?. I wonder how long the sale is on for, I would rather pay 20.00 a piece than 27.00. I hope you have a great day, very nice talking to you. My husband and I are going to go have dinner, yesterday was our 22nd wedding anniversary.

Debbie:) :+ :7

Happy Anniversary Debbie! Of the new series, I plan to eventually get Imax3 and Hardcore Circuit to start with. I really want to get that PH/MIS/BM dvd. But the pyramids are tempting. I really don't want to get a stability ball. Don't like it. I think I could do pyramids without it. So, I will have to check out the workouts again on FitTv.

Thank you for the happy anniversary wish. I am just getting ready to leave. Now you have me wondering if I should get the dvd with PH/BM/MIS. I HAVE HEARD NOTHING BUT GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS DVD!!. I like using the stability ball, BUTT, I have to be honest I am still working on those pikes, the ball likes to get away from me, thank goodness I work out by myself, but everyone says practice practice, so I will have it down pat someday. I really really do like MIS alot.
Maybe we should both order it and compare notes, LOL. I will check back later, enjoy your evening.:) :D :D :) :+ :7

Fab40

You really don't need the stability ball to do the Pyramids. I got them months before I got the ball (which should be called an instability ball, I think:p ). Modifications without the ball are shown.
