Hi!! I'm new here and I would like your opinions.

I found Cathe on FitTV and am in love! I want to begin adding Cathe's workouts to my collection of at home workout DVD's and would like some input on where to begin. I do the Firm now and have a ton of those workouts and I want more of a challenge. I have hand weights from 2-20 pounds, the small step adjustable from 6 to 8 to 14 inches, and a long step adjustable from 6 to 14 inches with an incline.

I'm looking at the blast series right now and my dilema is that I can afford just one DVD at this time. I want them all!!! I'm torn between the Timesaver DVD and DVD Two: "Kick, Punch, & CRUNCH" and "Legs & Glutes". But I know that all 4 DVD's are going to kick my butt so I am helpless!! Please help me decide.

Thanks!

I'm a big fan of Push Pull and especially Super Sets. There are so many excellent premix workouts that come with this DVD.

I say if you can just get ONE, get Timesaver. You can "make your own" extended versions and there's lots of variety of style on it so you get a well-rounded view of what Cathe offers. Its a GREAT DVD. A lot of bang for the buck!! Why not sell your old firm DVDs on ebay and get more after that?

I am quite new to Cathe too and when I was trying to decide which of the blast workouts to get, I purchased Timesaver in order to get a feel for the series. I did not want to buy the entire series and find that it didn't suit me. Timesaver turned out to be a great investment and of course, I will be purchasing the rest of the set.

Thanks for your help!! I believe I'll be going for the Timesaver DVD this month and in another couple of months, I'll add on with a second DVD.

It sure is tempting to get all 4, but my budget won't allow for it no matter how much I'm juggling it. So I'll have to do with one for now.

Thanks for helping me choose!!!

Tammy,
When you are ready you might want to check out some of the workouts in the Intensity series. There are some very good ones that might be what you are looking for.

I know!!! I'm so excited to have found these workouts!! I have to say it was really hard to decide what my first one should be. My plan is to eventually have all of them!!:D But it's going to be slow going as I'm a recovering shop-a-holic and my credit cards have been confiscated by my dear hubby. So it's cash or nothing for me. I had a hard time not getting the Terminator or Bootcamp/Muscle Endurance. Believe me, they look excellent. I also contemplated the CTX series, but it was a tad out of the budget at the moment.

I just finished ordering the timesaver DVD. I would love to get more than one at this time, but I figure I'm getting 5 workouts (plus the workout blender... how is that, by the way?) and I'm getting a lot of bang for my buck.

I can't thank you enough for helping me decide!!

you are definitely getting a bang for your buck. Timesaver takes from her other tapes. for instance the legs and glutes part of timsaver is from the actual legs and glutes tape. the shoulders section starts off with kick punch and crunch! you will definitely enjoy your purchase.

Hi Tammy. I just want to say GOOD FOR YOU for turning over those credit cards! Now, focus that shopping energy on working out and you'll make your life better in two ways: 1) You'll have more money to spend on the things in life that you really NEED and 2) You're taking care of yourself and getting into better physical condition and that's worth more than money can buy.

Goodluck to you!

I know what you are feeling.I am a new fan of Cathe. I am spanish and live in Spain. I have bought the timesaver, the body blast except the 3, the intensity series except the 3 etc.but I know I will allways have a problem. I love all the dvd and I do not have enought money to buy all. I must to do like you: wait. We are in the same boat. Patience.:) :)
