Hey, Donna! http://www.click-smilies.de/sammlung/aktion/action-smiley-069.gif

I haven't seen many posts from you lately and I just wanted to say that I miss them!!!! You are my inspiration, cuz your posts are inspiring and your just so inspirational and I'm always inspired by your inspiring posts. :p Are you too busy inspiring someone else to be here inspiring me 24/7???? Well, I guess that's OK, then.

I just noticed you aren't around here as much, and I hope all is well in your neck of the woods. http://www.click-smilies.de/sammlung/sehrgrosse/large-smiley-012.gif

Hi Robin,

I'm actually still around but end up "lurking" here each day for a few minutes here and there. I usually don't post often because the posts that "jump up" at me have usually already been answered so perfectly by all you "educated" Cathe-ites that I don't bother to add my .02
But I spend a huge amount of time "mentoring" a few ladies who are 250+lbs, 2 of which are 300+ and between emailing and discussing their daily menus, trying to help them incorporate exercise into their daily world (of which Cathe seems to terrify them!), it gets really time consuming. But I vowed to God that if He helped me with my journey that I would reach back and help as many like me that I could, so they get the bulk of my attention.
It's really hard too! I had you guys here to help me along so it was like the old saying, "it takes a village..." but since I can't get them here I am the entire "village" of support! But I like it, and I get the greatest satisfaction every time one of them loses a pound! :) I just wish I could motivate them to give Cathe a try, talk about motivation, if they'd only believe how fast they could slash those pounds by adding weight training and a few "Cathe cardio" days to their routine, they'd be much farther along in progress.
I try to tell them, but they think I'm some "oddity" that was just lucky not to drop dead doing Cathe at over 300lbs, I don't know, maybe I was, maybe God kept my heart going knowing I was too stupid to turn back or realize I was a "long hop turn" away from a heart attack! :)

But I'm still here, and I'll be a posting fool when the "Blast" series gets here! :)

Dona, I just wanted to say I was wondering the same thing about you!

I think it's wonderful that you're following through on your vow and reaching out to others who are in in the same situation you once were. It's so easy to make promises to God sometimes and so easy not to follow through. Thank you for being an inspiration to us all - no matter where we're at in our journey!

Hey, Donna,

That's wonderful that you are so involved helping other people reach their goals. I know the internet can be time consuming, (we won't talk about the hours and hours I've wasted on it. :p ) so I'll just be comforted knowing you're lurking around. Really, I just worry when folks disappear! Glad to know you're OK.

YES!! Cathe's new series!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *jumping up and down* The wait is killing me!

Take care!!

Hi Donna,
I've been missing you too. If you didn't answer this post, I was going to email you at home and see if James put too much miracle grow on that plant and it attacked you and was holding you hostage. LOL

I still may email you just to say hi.
Hugs to you

Donna~add me to the crowd that misses you too! Glad to hear your are fine and it is wonderful to know that you are sharing so much with those in need. Be sure to pop in now and then just to say Hi. We miss you.

I'm mostly a lurker too; just slightly more active lately. I always love hearing from you! And I think what you are doing is awesome. God Bless. Do your mentees lurk here? I must say the enthusism is contagious. Maybe that would help a bit? Slowly but surely. My mother actually asked me to help her recently, and I was amazed at how strong she is. So was she. I have never in my life seen my mother exercise, so it was a proud moment. We were doing slow and heavy together, which she nailed. The cardio we did later of course was tougher. I just told her do basics or anything simple when it gets too tiring or too complicated, just keep moving and in time you'll get it. She said it felt good and kept coming back for more.

She bought a step, which came with CTX All Step and she does a little bit more every day. Last year, I set up a little gym in her house, put in a treadmill, a bike, weight set, and some videos, and I mean walking five minutes at the lowest setting was too tiring (I think it was a mental challenge more than anything because she's a nurse and is walking at a faster pace at work all the time.) But to see her doing All Step is really a joy!

Thanks guys, and I'll be sure to be more "vocal" so you'll know I'm here! :)

I'm hoping that some of them do lurk here but haven't mentioned it, cause I know I put in Cathe's link only every opportunity I get and usually a (hint hint) and a smile face, but so far no one has said they've checked her out? I think each one thinks she's too heavy, and I don't want to push too hard cause everyone knows their limitations, but then some people are afraid to push themselves to see just what they can do, so I'm trying to find a "happy medium" and at least get them to try Cathe's total body weights. I think once they really start losing with some momentum, and start posting here they'll be really on their way! :)

Wanda: Becky is growing like crazy! Don't ask me how she got named Becky, I have no idea except that I looked at her and said, "and what shall I call you?" and suddenly Becky came to my mind!? She needs a bigger pot so I plan to go buy the necessary stuff to do that and my oldest daughter who has a green thumb from someone other than me is going to show me how to re-pot her. :) Oh~and James only has visitation rights, he allowed her to get too dry a few weeks ago so that was it, I took custody of her and now he can only look at her, he may not water her anymore! :)
