Where is my back bone?

Ugh....I had some info sent to me yesterday from the labour board concerning my job issues and I have every right to fight for my job. Ive had a few questions pop into my head the last few days and I am trying to get the nerve up to call my boss.
I don't know why I find this so hard. I hate facing anyone but this isn't really facing him! I just need to ask him a few questions, that I am sure he is prepared for but I need to get them off my chest and my mind.
Ive been walking around the house all morning with the phone in my hand but I just can't dial the number. Hopefully over the next couple of days I will get the nerve up! Just wish I wasn't such a baby!;( ;( ;(

I am sure all of us would feel the same in your situation. Just keep your chin up and do what you need to do. Sometimes it is hard to stand up for yourself. I have personally been there. When it is all over you will feel better. Good luck!

Dear Lori,

I do not know your situation, but it sounds like you've been having a rough time. It is never easy to confront someone, but I always remind myself that no one will stand up for me. You will always regret it if you don't call your boss and get those questions answered. It is better to bite the bullet now than to regret something later! Good luck. Lori, your boss will probably be more suprized if you don't call. I'll bet in the back of his mind he's expecting it. YOU are your best advocate, "The Lord helps those who help themselves". Take a deep breath and do it!

Lori, this might sound strange..I've had a couple times where I dreaded making a phone call and I actually put the phone in my hand and said outloud..."1-2-3" & dialed! (Kind of like jumping in a COLD swimming pool! :7) Just do it!
