Where do you see changes in your body first?

I have been religiously doing Cathe videos since the first of the year, and have noticed a big change in my legs, especially my quads. But my upper body seems like it hasn't changed at all! Has anyone else had this experience? How long will it take to notice a change in my upper body?

I have had exactly the opposite. I hate my lower body. I work it to death, and I see no results. I just don't get it. I guess it is genetics.

I have the same problem with my upper body and am STILL looking for a solution. My UB seems to hold onto more fat. Any feedback would be great!

It been my experience that the first place you tend to gain fat, is the last place you lose fat.

When I start to lean out, I notice it right away in my arms, abs and face, and lower back area and calves.

My thighs are the hardest to lean out, definition in my legs comes after a long time of consistent heavy/moderate weight training, a super clean diet and lots and lots of cardio. I like to add giant sets for the legs as well. Its tough.

I am with you Clarissa.

There is nothing wrong with my legs per say but they just don't respond the way my upper body does!

I tend to lean out first in my legs.

When I have not been eating clean enough, I can really tell it in my mid-section. I joke that I can predict the number on the scale by the way my belly looks.

Oddly, I lose it first right in the area where my quads meet my hips. Not my abs, oh no, that would be too good, but there - so my pants look baggy, but I cannot go down a size.

I also notice it right above my muffin top - I'll lean down right below the rib cage, but still muffin out over my pants. It's kind of irritating, but at least I'm heading the right direction. :p

I always see it first in my arms. They never get big, just more defined. I feel it in my legs, more than seeing it. And I see it in my abs. My shoulders I think are the most obvious.

My arms and abs tone up first. I see my legs are getting there, but there's still a bit of flesh hanging around. The awful thing with my body is that in order to get my lower body looking awesome, my upper body becomes almost emaciated. B**b's go bye-bye. So I'll take a little padding on the thighs and not beat myself up about it! :)
