Where do you keep your dog when you are out?

Our Chihuahua, Chocolate Lab & cat all have free roam of the house with the exception of the bedrooms since I close those doors. If I forget to close our DDs' bedroom doors, our Chihuahua likes to steal their stuffed animals even though the fur babies have a gazillion of their own toys:D

My guys have run of the house.
Maximus has claimed my chaise lounge:D Thankfully, he hasn't taken control of the remote!:p

What a silly boy! He's very photogenic. I love it when you post his pics. He looks like he's waiting on you to bring him a beer:)

Congrats on your puppy!! We have a five yr old cavalier king charles spaniel. They are complete cuddlers, and very low energy requirements. And as a bonus, they are not chewers of everything in site.
We keep Oliver in a sectioned off part of the basement with a bed and blanket and food/water. Oliver sleeps in our bed and has never been crate trained so it would break my heart to put him in a crate. He is too much of a people person/socialite to be confined. (I know, dogs love crates but he wasn't trained as a pup so we love our little arrangement).
Just make sure to get him a nice soft bed he will love it i promise.
Oliver took 6 weeks obedience classes too, but can't say he retained much.;)
good luck and enjoy!! What colors is he? I really really want a ruby now.

Gypsy is very cuddly. She certainly loves lots of love. She is Blenheim coloured. The ruby are so beautiful too.

Thank you so much to everyone who has replied. Looks like most have the run of the house. I think once she is toilet trained (hope it doesn't take too long) and if she isn't a chewy dog we will shut the doors to the kitchen and living area so she has those areas when we are out. Your replies have been very helpful. Thanks

LOL!!
He is full of personality! I love how goofy he is:p
The chaise is not the only thing he has take over......he has a tight hold on my heart. :D

I have a crazy 2 year old Boxer who we adore! We don't feel comfortable leaving him inside for 8 hrs...We crate trained him from the time he was 10 weeks old, but he sleeps in his doggie bed now. So the crate is now outside under a covered patio with blankets and toys.

By the way, I just love, love, Loved the pic of Maximus the boxer..what a cutie.:)
