Well my favorite season is fast aproaching, With all the posts about the holidays I was curious to when everyone opens gifts. We always do one on christmas eve and the rest christmas day. It has been that way since my son was little and we still do it this way. How about you all?

We have many days of presents. Christmas Eve, we get together with my SO's family and open presents with them. Then Christmas day it's just me, my SO and Sophie and we open our presents to each other (and Sophie's Santa presents). Then Boxing Day (which y'all don't have down there), we go to my sister's and have our family Christmas and open MORE presents. It's quite the brouhahah:p

Christmas morning, soon after waking (or crawling from the bedroom to the tree on those times when I was hung over).

I think most people open one christmas eve and the rest in the morning but when we grew up my mom would pick out which gift we could open and it would always be christmas p.j's.Now DD wants to pick her own and it is usually a small but expensive gift.
I worked with a girl who took turns with her DB doing the way he wanted to, which was one christmas eve.
I love christmas to...can't wait!

DH and I go to a Christmas Eve party every year that his family hosts. Everyone buys small gifts for everyone and we open them in age order, one at a time, from youngest to oldest. This takes about 4 hours as there are 20+ people who have to open almost as many gifts each!

On Christmas Day the rest of the gifts are opened. We house hop so that we can see everyone so we open gifts at 3 different times on Christmas Day. lol

We go to his parents on Christmas Eve and open presents. Then Christmas Day my Mom comes over in morning (she slept over in the past to see what "Santa" brought) and we open a present or 2, eat breakfast, open some more, play with stuff, open more, eat lunch, ect. You get the picture... we drag it out all day and wallow in being home, cooking a big meal, playing with our new toys, etc... We just started this a couple years ago and have never enjoyed the holiday more. No stress, and the day we all waited for isn't over in a flash!

cute work out clothes are good for AT LEAST an additional 10-15 calories burned!

We have a big Christmas Eve party for all of our friends. Then afterwards, my daughters exchange their presents and I usually dig out the Christmas pj's and give them those as well. Then it's a morning opening of the main presents - getting later and the kids get older *YEA!!*

Oh, the holidays are nuts for our family!!!

The weekend before Christmas, we get together with MY side of the family...One day with just Mom, Dad and the brothers...Christmas Eve morning is Grandma's, then back to our house to open gifts just the 3 of us, then church, then DH's parents...Christmas morning my daughters dad picks her up between 7 and 9 (we never know until he calls when he's leaving his house) and Jason (DH) and I spend the rest of the day talking on the phone in our jammies...

We spend Christmas Eve with my husband's family, so we exchange gifts then. Christmas morning we do ours, and then get together with my family later in the day to exchange again! It's non stop tearing of wrapping paper!

We usually go to an extended family (my mom's side) get-together on Christmas Eve, which I dread. Then the same night, we go to my parent's house and open presents. (We tell ds that Santa's so busy that he drops off his presents at grandma's house. ;-) )

Christmas day we stay home and sleep in. :7

We always open one present after Christmas Eve Church Service. Then Christmas morning we open what Santa has brought us, have a big breakfast to prepare for the huge wrapping paper shredding event of the presents under the tree! I can't wait! this is my favorite time of year!!
