When are your new Cathe DVD's to arrive?

I got mine today but I haven't had a chance to preview them yet. The DVD covers are quite pretty. Cedie looks very cute on the stretch DVD.

Make sure you post back and let me know how they are!! I had to wait a little longer to pre-order mine since I was leaving for the road trip. Good reason though! ;-)
 
I'm suppose to receive mine tomorrow. I can't wait. I haven't been able to do High impact or any exercise for two weeks. I have a dislocated coccyx bone. I see the orthopedic tomorrow. I hope he okays low impact. (keep your fingers crossed for me)

I just got done doing Low Impact Step. I have to say that it's actually a mixed impact workout. There were a good bit of hops and jumps, but she emphasized keeping it grounded if you wanted to. I added a few more jumps because I wanted the intensity. I would say that it's a solid intermediate workout. The choreography reminded me of a combo of C&W and Low Max. The music was generic instrumental music. It was fine because I was more interested in the combos. I was on a 6 inch step, but could have definitely done the workout on 8 inches. I already worked out this morning, so the 6 inches was fine. This ones a keeper & I will probably use this workout as an add on to my weight work. I haven't done the stretch or strength workout yet, but they look pretty good as well. Hope I helped some:)

I did the step workout as is, not a premix. Here's what I thought (keeping in mind that I love Cathe to death, ok?):

Good:

-A little more intricate footwork than Basic Step
-Decent length
-You can modify the moves to make them higher impact
-It's very doable on an 8" step
-Pendulums, pump repeaters, triples around the board, over-face-in-over, etc.
-There are some moves from Low Max towards the end!

Not as Good:

-The warm up song was kind of annoying
-This is really not geared toward us, so it's very easy
-Cathe is talking to a different audience so she doesn't sound quite like "our" Cathe (i.e. making it sound a lot more difficult than it is during the workout, repeatedly referring to basic moves as "tricky")

I probably won't use this one again unless I'm coming back from an injury or just don't feel like exercising that hard. But I still have to applaud SNM for the high production quality. And who can blame Cathe for appealing to a wider audience? I'll let you know how the others are if I get a chance to preview them tonight.

Your description was more detailed than mine...LOL!! I worked out twice today, so I was too tired to explain all the details. I hated the first song too!

I haven't even received a shipping notice yet! Boo hoo! :( But I didn't order till the week before the presale ended, so I'll be one of the last to get mine. That's alright, because I didn't really order them for me - DH wanted them. (Yay for DH!) But I am excited to see how Cathe and crew look in these new DVDs! :)
 
You won't be alone. I'll probably be the last to get mine too. I ordered them as a present to my sister and she is exited. She's like a little kid calling me everyday to see if I know when they would ship.
 
I received mine yesterday. I did preview them but haven't done them yet. Cathe & Co look beautiful as always. My initial thoughts are that my favorite of them will be the step. It will be a great workout for those days that I am not up to any of the IMAXs. It does have some of my favorite moves in the workout. I am anxious to try the weight workout with heavier weights (Cathe uses 3 lbs but she stated in an earlier e-mail that she tried the workout with heavier weights and we could use heavier weights).

All in all I am looking forward to working out to these workouts. I will let you know what I think after doing them.

I preordered on the first day, but because I live in Oregon, mine won't be here until 9/6x(.

I got mine yesterday, and I'll try the step workout today - just perfect because it's Friday and I'm pooped. I don't want to do anything intense like Imax 3, so I like having this option. I'll give you my review later.
Just Do It! :)
