Karie, I've been interested in TT for awhile now. Did you download the e-books or join the member site or both? I was looking at the platinum membership but I couldn't tell if the e-books are included at that level. TIA :)

i downloaded the original e-book and tried the workout in that. i liked it so then i became a member. on the member site there are sooooo many workouts to download starting from 2007! each month a new one comes out. i think the membership is well worth it!

Thank you so much, Karie! So then, just to clarify, if I join the member site do I still need the book, or is everything in the book available as part of the membership? Thanks again!

Miss Lee, what website are you talking about? What is this TT?

I just started Barry's Bootcamp 5 Day Academy. I got it for Christmas last year and never used it. It was time for an endurance rotation after 2 rounds of STS.

Mon: Cardio/Arms & Abs
Tue: Cardio/Butt & Legs
Wed: Cardio/Chest & Abs
Thu: Cardio/Shoulders & Back
Fri: Full body

The cardio is short but super intense and the lifting has a lot of reps with holds....OUCH! I find Barry really annoying but just try to tune him out.

Great rotation! How is your body responding to it??? I have all the workouts your doing but haven't done them as a rotation like you. Turbulence training is a workout program you download. The discription of the whole program is found at www.turbulencetraining.com and if you decide to become a member, all the workout downloads are on www.ttmembers.com Basically its a 3 day per week program (every other day) in which you do a 20-25 min full body lifting routine followed by a 20 min intense interval session. On your off days you do 30 min of whatever light activity you want making sure that the intensity doesn't interfere with recovery.

Well, if I could get my diet part down, I think my results would be fantastic b/c I feel so good and the more I do these workout the better my form is and the harder they get while getting easier. Harder b/c my form is better and I'm working what I'm supposed to be working and easier b/c my body is getting used to the new "pain." I actually subbed in Squeeze Lower Body Challenge instead of the SS Lower Body premix and I am still sore combined with the CB I did on Sunday. My legs are thinning out though and my back core area is really toned and cut. So far, I haven't even missed heavy lifting and my body isn't getting any flabbier or losing "muscle" from barre. I'm surprised but with Squeeze and Jackie's workout and even with the way Classical Stretch works the upper body, I feel like I'm getting plenty of upper body work as well and I haven't noticed that I'm losing muscle tone or anything since I'm not lifting the traditional way. I had heard of the turbulence training but forgot what it was all about. Thanks for the info.! I like CB and Squeeze Lower Body Challenge for the way it works the backside and P57 and the other Squeezes are good for the frontside so I feel I'm getting a lot of balance in this rotation.

Judi...BBC 5 Day Academy is a toughie rotation! Are you doing the regular cardio or the treadmill cardio? I wish I had a treadmill. I'd love to do BBC treadmill cardio.

I just started BBC this past Monday and have been doing the non-treadmill cardio. I will probably mix it up after this first week. I can't get over how intense the cardio workouts are...it is like "plyos on steroids" with no breaks!

Turbulence Training is almost as Insanity?

no. TT has heavy lifting while Insanity does not. Yes TT has bodyweight exercises but the lifting that is done is heavy with less volume then what most are used to with cathe's workouts. I suppose you could use the shorter Insanity workouts for TT's cardio. TT is about 25min of strength training followed by 20 min of interval cardio. Does that help?
