What's up for your weekend?

What's everyone doing? Anything exciting?

I have a hankering to take my DD apple picking, only because I want to bake apple things - apple pie, apple crisp, apple muffins, baked apples... you get the picture.:p

She wants to go to the mall, so maybe we'll do that too. I still need to find shoes!

DS has a football game. My DH has banned me from all further practices (he is the coach). Last night after practice, I was telling him what to do. He said either stay away from practice or coach the team yourself. Hmmmmmm, maybe I should!
Anyway, I would like to go shopping a bit too. No set plans really.

Well, tonight DH and I are going to a friend's CD release party/show. So excited. She's got an amazing voice and she and her husband are so talented and nice. Here's her myspace, in case anyone cares to listen--trying to help her out as much as I can!

Tomorrow, DH wants to use me as a guinea pig for a couple of new dishes he's trying out...two homemade raviolis, one with butternut squash and one with mushroom. Oh, well, if I must!

Hoping for rain...want to veg and read, too!

I am going to an in-home jewelery party thingy tonight for my best friend.

Tomorrow I have no plans. DH is working so I guess DS and I will just hang out.

Sunday I am going shopping with my mom.

Tonight, I'm headed to a wedding with my new 'friend'....feels wierd to say boyfriend or whatever. His brother's getting married and I'm SOOO excited about going!

Saturday is baseball for older DS.
Sunday is football for younger DS.

Workouts, fun, outside stuff in between all of it!

Well, I plan to study and research popcorn makers and then buy one. I think we'll buy a microwave too since ours is ancient and rusted. The gym and Get Ripped. The Eileen Fisher store for fall duds if I feel up to it. Enjoy the city and the fall weather with the DH.

Going to visit the in-laws this weekend. DH is running in Race for the Cure on Sunday. I would normally run with him, but I can't run with this piriformis syndrome, so I'll just cheer him on from the sidelines. :) I would like to go shoe shopping too, if there's time.

I would love to go shoe shopping with Emily but alas I will not have time.

We are having a 75th birthday party for my MIL. This will pretty much consume my whole weekend. It should be interesting since I am pretty much the "black sheep" of that whole bunch.

I feel like I finally have my life back after 11 weekends of taking care of my aunt (who died of cancer in July) and then spending the last 9 weekends clearing out her house.

My sisters and I are taking a shopping trip to Jacksonville tomorrow and on Sunday I'm just relaxing. I'll probably get a workout in on Sunday as well.

Apple picking sounds like so much fun! Have a great time!

Saturday is my 5 year old DS's first ever soccer game. I am so excited for him. Also it is my birthday. Other than that no plans, maybe cutting the grass. I was trying to get a babysitter to watch the kids so DH and I could go out to lunch at Olive Garden but everyone is either out of town or busy. Unfortunately we don't live near any family and 2 year old DD will not sit still for anything. DH also has a coworkers wedding reception tomorrow afternoon so I will be staying home with the kids.

Sunday morning will be our usual day of going to church and CCD. Other than that nothing special.

Apple picking sounds like SOOOO much more fun than what I have planned. Tomorrow my DD has a birthday party to go to at Build-a-Bear at noon and at 4:15 she has a High School Musical dance class to go to. In between taking her to these and most of sunday, I have to study for my first exam in chemistry 2. Yuck.

Getting together with in-laws for MIL birthday and my birthday on Saturday evening. I need to study (I have two tests to take this weekend - which I'm not even ready for). Plus I've started learning to quilt and need to get my stuff ready for the next class session on Tuesday. Do laundry (YUCK!!!). Tonight I have to go out and buy MIL's birthday present. The weekend's go by too fast.

I'll be headed to the mall for new sneaks. Don't need them, but REALLY want them, and that's what matters right?!?!;)

Nothing else too exciting. Although I am making a big batch o' chili on Sunday. The weather is supposed to be cool and fall-like, perfect for chili-making. Might bake something to while I'm at it.

I like the idea of apple picking. Might have to look into that.

Have a good weekend everyone!!

YUM...Apples:9

Going to DD's varsity soccer game on Saturday then I need to power read. Three of my requested library books came in and they are on a short loan due to so many requests so I don't have a lot of time to read them.

I think we are going to see the new Jodie Foster movie tonight (The Brave One) Normally, our movie nite is Saturday but we are going to a dinner at a country club after DH works a booth at a convention on Saturday.

Tonight I am going with a friend to WEGMANS for grocery shopping, and we are also going to stop by ANN TAYLOR. The rest of the weekend is work, errands, and Cathe step cardio, of course !

(whispering quietly to Debbie so we don't hijack)

I've been seeing a guy that I've known for a few years. We've been spending a lot of time together, comparing notes, so to speak. I can't put my finger on it....but something is really CLICKING between us. He's filling in spots and holes that I didn't know existed (if that makes sense).

We're going to his brother's wedding tonight, and I am SOOOOOOOO looking forward to it! I'll keep ya posted...PROMISE!
