What's the best i-climb workout?

I just got my 2 credits from itrain. First off, does anyone know what 2 credits will buy? Secondly, I do cardio-coaches on my elliptical right now and love them. So, not being very familiar with itrain, I'm wondering.....which one should I get? I generally like a longer workout for maximum calorie burn, however I also like HIIT type workouts as well. Any suggestions??

Thanks

Angie

I like the 45 minute iclimb workout by Keith. Its pretty good, with bouts of faster intervals, although I prefer the itread and icycle workouts best.

I think 2 credits will buy 2 workouts?? I could be wrong. I like all the iClimbs for my Elliptical even over the Cardio Coaches. I would say just get one of the longer iClimbs for maximum calorie burn. Not sure if any of them would be considered true HIIT...:)

2 credits will buy two workouts.

My suggestion: Get any iClimb of 40 to 45 minutes duration (most have a few nice double time intervals called sprints where you try to keep to the double time beat of the music at lower resistance for what feel like 30 to 40 second sprints) with one credit, and iclimb Surprise Set 11 with the other. The latter will feel different from your existing collection because it involves hopping off the elliptical every 5 minutes for intervals of strength/plyo exercises.

The workout goes like this:

Warm up on elliptical followed by a short cardio burst

1st interval:
Regular jumping jacks
Slow jacks with a squat

Back on elliptical

2nd interval:
Pushups (regular followed by staggered ones)

Back on elliptal

3rd interval:
Alternating lunges
Explosive lunges
Pulsing lunge on each side

Back on elliptical

4th interval:
Superset X 2
Dumbbell bent over rows for lats
Dumbbell overhead press
Slow body weight Squats
Slow Jump squats (a real thigh burner!)

Back on elliptical for a fast sprint and then a cool down ride.

Thank you all so much for your input. I'm considering #14 which has both Keith and Grace. I've heard so many raves about both of them so I'm so excited to try it out. This one also looks like I would have to get off the elliptical to do other exercises.
But then again, it looks like they will be updating their workouts on March 11th. Maybe I'll force myself to wait until then and see what happens with the update.

Thanks again!

Angie, If you are referring to iBiClimb Bootcamp, it has some segments on a treadmill as well. I'd rate it the best worout in the itrain library so far, but you need both treadmill and elliptical.

I totally agree, iBiClimb Bootcamp is awesome! You can do it all on the elliptical if you want (the cardio segments are more steady state and easily adaptable). I've done it all on the treadmill and got a great workout but I think you can sub all elliptical just as easily.

Another favorite of mine is iClimb Core Set 17. It's another circuit that alternates elliptical with on the floor medicine ball segments. The time flies and my heart rate usually stays up the entire workout (if I use a 6-8 lb. med ball). The description says it's 55 minutes but it's really only about 40 minutes long. It starts out with about 10 minutes of elliptcal and 5 mintute segments of the following: med ball squats/elliptical/med ball lunges/elliptical/med ball back lunges/elliptical.

Yet another great one that uses both a treadmill and elliptical (but easily adaptable to elliptical only) is iTread Tag Team 22. It has a really good elliptical/bootcamp segment that works your legs pretty good.
I'll attach both of the breakdowns for you:
