ok...this coming from a, um, ahem, country music-listner! LOL (although Shelley's post of the top 10 Classic Rock songs has me pulling out my CDs from college) I'm trying to listen to more stuff that the kids are listening to these days. Heaven help me, I know!

So.....what ARE they listening to these days.

AND...

what's that one song, it's a really cool DJ/party/reception song that rivals the Electric Slide. Something like, "slide to the left; slide to the right; left foot one stomp" etc etc etc?

Another country music fan here!!! What can I say? I love it! Keith, Kenny, Tim, Shania, Dixie Chicks, Rascal Flats, Sugarland (from Atlanta!), The Wreckers...

There are so many great songs and style of country these days its hard not to enjoy it!!

definitely...so many i can't even think of them all. the georges (strait and jones), randy travis, travis tritt, alan jackson, brooks and dunn, toby keith, lonestar, brad paisley, rascal flats, diamond rio...i could go on and on!

i used to go listen to jennifer nettles when she was in a blues/rock band. her husband owns a bar/music venue in atlanta and she has been in the atlanta music scene for a long time. glad to see she's made it.

Oh, good to know that I'm not alone. I'm actually having a very hard time trying to listen to anything else! LOL

ANd YES,......it's the Cha Cha Slide! That's it! I want to buy a CD for each of my kids for their BDays next month, and want to get one with this song on it!

Right now the album kids are listening to is the High School Musical 2 soundtrack. I bought it for my 8 year old son and he listens to it over and over. The original High School Musical album is also very good. It was actually the top selling album for 2006.

You can check Radio Disney Jams CDs (there's different volumes)I'm sure one of them has this song on it. They play it all the time on Radio Disney.
