I have started working out after a long period of not due to having kids. I bought the basic step & body fusion DVD and have been doing it for two months now. I love the body fusion workout. I'm ready to try another DVD, but was wondering which one to get next. My problem area is my middle section (esp. having two kids close together). Which would be recommended to get next (I don't want too advance but want more than the basic step)?

Low impact step is a good intermediate workout. It also has a circuit. I tend to use the cardio premix. Low max is great, comes with two 40 (??) min. premixes. Yoga and jogging had the most effect on my weight/mid section but I don't have any kids so I don't know if that would work for you. I use the couch to 5k program which is just a 30 min. workout and I use Yoga Today dot com online which has free streaming yoga workouts. My favorite instructor is Sarah Kline. The workouts are about 45 minutes in length and don't pick an advanced workout to do first, they are very advanced imhop. For a targeted mid section workout you might try the "Core Max" DVD. But, the thing is usually people have some fat on top of the muscle which is what makes the muscles hard to see, once that comes off usually it takes very little actual core work to get the look you want.
