My first non-gym, in-home workout was Denise Austin. I only did a handful of those as my mom (I was a teen) would make horrible fun of me for working out. My first purchase was the original P90 on VHS. I did a total of 3 workouts and realized I couldn't stand Tony and the sound of his voice made me want to stab me eyes out with spoons. Perhaps working out at 5am didn't help. I moved onto the Firm when the Firm Fanny Lifter and BSS2 were released via infomercial and Leslie Sansone. I never did any of those seriously. I was a heavy lifter at heart and Loved good, old weights. Cardio was never my cup o tea.
I found Cathe in early 2008 and she was the first instructor, actually the only instructor still, that I can lift at home and still feel like I get a quality workout. Heck, her lifting workouts are so good that I have times when I'm at the gym and I find myself thinking "I should have just done a Cathe DVD instead".
