what to do if you miss a day?

What do you guys do if you have to miss a workout day in a rotation? Do you skip it and go to the next day or continue with that day when you workout again? I'm just wondering because there are a few times when I get really busy and just cannot get a workout in...for example, my best friend is getting married on saturday and the next three days are consumed with wedding stuff so I will not be able to throw in a workout tape (I will not be home and will be veryyyy busy!!!).

Thanks!

It depends on where I'm at in my rotation. If I'm coming off a rest day and was supposed to do weight training, then the next day I work out, I do that weight training and kind of scootch the rest of the workouts ahead one day. Or sometimes I skip the next rest day to catch up. But if the skipped workout was cardio and I'm supposed to weight train the next day, I'll do the weight training and stick an extra cardio on the end of that.

Feebs....I can't believe you posted this as I was thinking about asking the same thing!!

I got started really strong with the Aug. rotation and am loving it. But went out of town on the first Friday of the rotation. There was no way to work out while gone due to schedule/space conflicts! I mean literally no way! So I get home very late Mon. nite and got sick Tues....x( x( x( so aggravating!!!! I'm trying to get back in the saddle again today, which I think is C&W. I still don't feel well, but whatcha gonna do? It stresses me greatly to start a rotation and anything 'mess with it', ya know?!:(

Anyway, I have been debating on where to jump in and I guess since C&W is what it is, I'm thinking that'll be a good place to start.

I would enjoy hearing what other 'educated crowd' folks do in the same situation, too.

Sorry so long....:7
