What to Buy?!?!?

Since my birthday is coming up, I'm going to load up on the Cathe DVD's. I taped all the ones off of FitTv and want to get those on DVD now that I know what I'm doing step-wise :)

I enjoy doing weights much more than doing cardio, although I do enjoy running and the step workouts. I'm not a huge fan of the Imax workouts, but I do like the step portions. Jumping up and down just doesn't feel good on the old knees. My favorite rotations are the ones where I use the GS series along with step workouts. I've also worked one body part a day.

I plan on getting the Body Blast and the Intensity series.
I have almost all of the Hardcore series, except for HSC, Coremax, and Stretchmax. I don't really want those either. I also have the Slow and Heavy series and the Pure Strength series. I also have RS+, Power Hour+, Imax 3, Kick Max, and Basic Step (way too easy) w/Cardio and Weights (a free dvd with the step).

I am debating whether to get CTX or LowMax (I have the FitTV version and it's on the Hardcore Extreme dvd), Cardio Hits, and Ab Hits. I HATE working my abs, and typically do it by using a workout at the end of her videos. I'm trying to keep this part of my total (-the Body Blast and Intensity series) to around $80. CTX has weights, which I enjoy, but the Cardio Hits looks fun, too.

Any suggestions on what to get?

Thanks in advance.

I would probably go with the CTX series. Four out of the six workouts have step in them and they also have ab routines. Ab Hits has the routines from PS, S&H, Body Max, MIS which you already have and the ab routines from CTX. The Fit TV version of Low Max is much shorter than the actual workout but since you have Hardcore Extreme, I wouldn't worry about that too much unless you really wanted it for the premixes or for an uninterrupted workout. Cardio Hits is a great DVD. Step Works is my favorite. It also comes with the PS ab workout (which you already have).

Hope this helps. Enjoy your new purchases.

I'd definitely go with CTX. You can mix and match different CTX workouts, giving you many cardio options. There's upper body weight work and a great lower body workout. There's a bunch of nice short ab routines as well. I have Ab Hits, but find I never use it because I tend to use the ab segments from the original DVDs. I also have Cardio Hits, which has some great workouts, but I tend to prefer the more recent step workouts like Step Blast. CTX is one of my favorite series.

Have fun,

Thanks, ladies, for the advice.
I was leaning toward CTX and you've helped convince me. I can't wait to get it and let you know what I think. Sounds like it has exactly what I enjoy doing.

Thanks again!
