I would definitely go with "The Step" brand and make sure it is the full-size club step. Make sure to include shipping charges in your price comparisons, i.e. it might be a little more on Amazon but turn out to be less if it has "Super Saver Shipping." Or ShopCathe might be less. If I was buying a new step, I would probably go with the grey/black one--but my teal step has lasted for 14 years and is still going strong.
A good quality anti-burst stability ball is worth the extra money--cheap ones can't keep up with Cathe!
I bought mine from walmart.com and they shipped it to my local store for free. This was a couple years ago, so I don't know if they still carry it or not. It was a good price and also came with a Cathe DVD. You can't beat free shipping!!

I bought my first step at Academy. It came with a Beginner Cathe DVD. I'd definitely do that again! It was a great buy. Just make sure you get "The Step."
If I was going to buy a step, I would DEFINITELY get the one Cathe sells. I've been looking at that sucker for years, but can't justify it. I have a Step Reebok that I got for free. But I wish it was more versatile like Cathe's. I have The Firm stability ball and it's the best one I've had so far (my 3rd). My other 2 popped. One got stuck by a nail, the other got stuck by a puppy
