What songs really get you motivated!!??

I hate to shock Amy and TeTe, but this is not what the general public thinks of 80s music. Joy Division? Black Flag? You're kidding right?
HAAA! I bet you even own these on vinyl (I broke out Black Flag's "My War" on vinyl the other day....ooooooh!)

Try Culture Club, Wham, Men at Work, and don't forget the Tony Basil classic "Oh Micky you're so fine you blow my mind. Hey Micky!" When I think of it on those terms I realize the 80s had to be one of the most musically painful decades ever! (sorry to any fans out there...it's just my opinion)

Beavs,

Yeah, you're right (so what else is new???}( ). The same goes for the '70s. That decade gets a very bad rap (pardon the pun), but there was some great music back then. As a matter-of-fact, I was listening to "Marquee Moon" by Television last weekend, and I swear, and it still sounds innovative!!!

Aaaaaah! Television! I used to jump around my old living room on a pogo stick to that album. That and Kermit Ruffins....sometimes at the same time. My tenants luuuvvvved it. HA! Awesome records!!!

Okay, I love all THAT 80's music - I'm talking about Van Halen (sorry folks) and all that stuff. As Beavs said, what most people think of as 80's music. I'm just not feeling the love.

When I want to get motivated, I listen to trance, hard trance, techno - DJs like Armin Van Buuren, Carl Cox, Tall Paul, SOS ... Or maybe some Ministry - Jesus Built My Hot Rod, anyone? Tool, of course. Underworld, Korn, Beastie Boys...

My mom taught aerobics in the 80s, so I definitely associate 80s music with working out. I remember my mom using Bon Jovi, Madonna, Janet Jackson, Michael Jackson, Taylor Dayne, Bob Seger, Robert Palmer, Adam Ant, Bryan Adams, to name a few. I still love all the music my mom used and I also like classic rock (Eagles, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones), disco, and some new music (Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake, Cake, Goldfrapp ooh I love Goldfrapp). I also listen to some 80s music my mom never would, like Motley Crue, Guns N Roses, and Nine Inch Nails.

I love it when Cathe uses my favorite music like Cold as Ice and Crazy on You in Imax 2, Relax in Low Max, and You Give Love a Bad Name in Imax 3. So much fun!

Call Me the Breeze by Lynard Skynard. i admit i dont walk or run but if i did i would for sure use it
