What is...

The most meaningful and special compliment I've ever received was from my very dear, very sweet husband on HIS birthday this month -- he printed out Proverbs 31:10-31, the verses in the Bible describing the godly and virtuous "wife of noble character," and annotated and highlighted each verse with how he believes it applies to me. It was extremely touching and inspiring to think (know) that my husband holds me in such high regard and esteem. I believe that I am truly treasured, and for that I am truly thankful!

best compliment i ever got is that i'm a good mother. means the world to me!

(my husband gave me the compliment)

Mine would be about 15 years ago when my DD were 2 and 3. We were on our way to the mountains and had stopped at Mcdonald's. I was at the table while DH was getting food. The girls and I were goofing around and laughing. An older couple was nearby and when they left, the wife said how nice it was to see such a "young" family get along so well w/ their children and how "I just don't see enought of that anymore". That made my day. and 15 years later I still get compliments on how my DDs and DS are so well mannered and such nice kids.:)Feels like i'm doing something right!

Should have mentioned mine, I guess - it was when the most important person in the world to me - the person who knows me better than anyone on the planet, told me that he loves me.

I've had other compliments, but none comes close to that one. Now I'm trying to earn that compliment.

Oh, and he also told me I have a Julia Roberts smile.
