Cathlete
Mine is real and in progress:

~I woke up before DH and DD, went downstairs and banged out CCV4 on my stationary bike while wearing my hot pink CATHLETE t-shirt...love it!!

~went out to get my iced coffee and they made it right...

~about to head out for a facial...AHHH!!

~dropping DD off at her friends bday party later this afternoon and heading to the mall, BY MYSELF... I can't remember the last time I went shopping by myself!!

~going out to dinner with DH, ALONE...:D

And the icing on the cake: I weighed myself this morning and lost 2lbs this week! This may be the MOST PERFECT DAY EVER!!!

What's yours??

Melissa, your day sounds great. Mine would include some time on a beach in St John, USVI, snorkeling the reefs just off shore, followed by a hike in the mountains. It would end with a delicious lobster dinner with friends, then a good bottle of Zinfandel on the patio with my DH. Hmmmm, not sure how the logistics will work out going from the Carribbean to the mountains and ending up in my own backyard, but a girl can dream. Oh, and while I'm dreaming, I'd probably spend part of the morning on Cathe's set as we put the finishing touches on the step workout I'm in. LOL. Some fantasy!

I forgot to include the part where I win the Lottery and can spend the next day living another fantasy...

And high fives on the poundage dropped. I thought I heard a THUD!

My perfect day is drinking a big cup of green tea while watching my three girls, who are growing up WAY too fast, play at the park and seeing them laugh and enjoy each other. Those moments are slipping away from us and I am trying to enjoy them when I can. Also, curling up on the couch with a good book while my lop eared rabbit sleeps on me. Silly, I know.

Nothing silly about that!

My perfect day would be sailing out to Nantucket on our trimaran (which we don't have - yet) finding a nice spot for DH to dive, SAFELY, for a while, while our four-legged children and I lounge on the trampolines, getting some sun, then paddling in for a nice dinner at one of the great restaurants on the island. Spend the night on the boat and sail back home!

Ahhh . . . nice dream!

Congratulations on your perfect day, Melissa! Those are rare, aren't they?

Any perfect day for me would have to involve the NY Times Sunday crossword puzzle, cardio and weight training, and a really good mystery book. Oh, and absolutely no phone anywhere close enough for me to hear it! :D

I'm actually having a very nice Saturday - near-perfect, if not actually perfect!

I slept in (yessssssss!!), got up, had some coffee and walked the dogs - and it was actually a relatively cool morning, so we got a nice long walk in, and a fine time was had by all.

Got home, ate breakfast, got an attack of "the cleanies" - so I cranked up some music and cleaned the heck out of the place. The doggies got into the fun and played some tug and keep away during the cleaning, then we had a rousing game of "blanket beast" to cap it all off.

Then, the dogs took a nap and I read a book. A whole, trashy romance/mystery novel that I read just to please myself, and which was completely intellectually worthless (yesssss!).

Now I'm relaxing and having some tea after dinner, and I've got four brand new Netflix to choose from.

My SO is out of town for the weekend, which is a little bit of a drag, but the last few weeks have been so hectic, this totally relaxed day has felt AWESOME.

I guess it might be slightly improved if it were somehow taking place on an exotic tropical island somewhere, if there were a gorgeous man (or four) rubbing my feet and/or shoulders, and if there were cake involved. In fact, the cake alone would've put it over the top. :p

Melissa, congratulations on the 2 pounds lost!

I love the days when DH takes the kids to my in-laws for the entire day, and I get to stay home...alone. :D

I know they're having a good time, and I'm free to do whatever I'd like to do. (That includes doing nothing at all.)
