What is your favorite cheesecake flavor?

Okay, I know, it isn't good for us and it is loaded with fat. But we are human and we love cheesecake (except for my brother---I dont' get it, I wish I had it, but I don't)!
My favorite is chocolate and peanut butter. I found this recipe in a cheesecake cookbook years ago. It is like the richest, most to die for peanut butter cup ever. Ohhhhhhhhhhhh......
Okay, confess. What kind is it that gets your attention?
 
I'm totally with your brother on this one. I love cheese, and I like cake, but NOT together! I think that sugar just ruins cheese. And I like my cake light, not super-rich. Does that explain it a bit?

My favorite flavor is Chocolate Mocha. Absolutely worth every calorie.
 
I understand Nancy because I feel the opposite: I don't care for most cakes because I don't like that light and airy texture. Needless to say I never eat Angel Food cake which is my DH's favorite. I love dense, heavy, rich tortes and cheesecakes.
 
40something, I am with you all the way. Angel food cake? Ugh, my cakes gotta be heavy and worth those calories. If you gonna be bad, then be really bad!
 
I guess I'm just strange as my favorite cakes are angel food cake and then cheesecake. But, my absolute favorite cheesecake flavor is just... cheesecake. Plain and very thick and firm. I also hate crust, so the thinner or more non-existant the crust, the better. Unfortunately, I don't find that very often, so (luckily, I guess?) I don't get to enjoy cheesecake very often.

ANY cheesecake is good cheesecake. Now if I could just let myself enjoy some, I'd be in business! LOL!

My favorites are: peanut butter cup cheesecake, pumpkin cheesecake, and plain cheesecake with cherries or blueberries on top. I have never met a cheesecake though that I didn't like:)

DH makes one that's basically a regular cheesecake but he adds a bit of lemon and orange zest and uses vanilla wafers for the crust. Yum!

I love chocolate cheesecake and pumpkin cheesecake too! Hmmmm...come to think of it I don't think there is really one I don't like! I must try that chocolate and peanut butter!

Just wondering Nancy...why would you think sugar ruins cream cheese? Did I misread your post?

I'm w/Nancy and Missy...I'm not a big cheesecake lover. I don't like pies either, give me cookies or cake and that is a whole different story!

I have a few - lol.

Maple Pecan and Chocolate Rasberry Swirl are my two favs...
with Chocolate Cranberry close behind.

Mmmm - so decadent.
 
I'm with you <sblordita>, just plain cheesecake for me. I actually don't like sweets at all - so any sweet flavors and any chocolate all make my stomach curdle. I'm not much of a desert person at all actually - fresh fruit pies, fresh fruit, maybe angel food. I think that's why I can tolerate cheesecake, because it's generally not overly sweet. Plain with a sprinkling of fresh berries.
 
I haven't came face to face yet with a Cheese Cake I did not like :p :p My most favorite dessert Cheeseee Cakeeee, aw. OH, Carrot Cake is too simply die for. Can ya tell I'm having a moment in sweet land :9 :9
