What is your fave body part to work out?

My ass!

I want that coin to "bounce" off!

You have to stay in shape. My grandmother started walking when she was 60. Today she is 97 and we don't know where the hell she is! - Ellen DeGeneres

In order of "Can't Wait, Total Favorite" to "Big Dread Factor Sets In Beforehand":

1. Back
2. Shoulders
3. Triceps
4. Abs
5. Chest (It just never gets any easier, it seems -- and Big Girl Pushups remain a fantasy.)
6. Legs (Because I have crummy knees and, now, a recovering traumatized ankle.)

I also must say that I am a strength girl and view cardio of any kind as Eat Your Peas. But speaking of cardio -- not that you asked ;-) -- here's the same list:

1. Interval training
2. a tie between Step and Kickbox
3. Power walking in my hilly neighborhood with my best friend
4. Elliptical trainer
5. Running sprints on my treadmill (Can't run on pavement at all; knee issues, again)
6. Having a root canal with no anesthesia while running on pavement
7. Hi/lo ;-)

I love to workout my abs. I have a hard time with upper body...like the shoulders, but I am getting better and stronger all the time so I just have to work thru it. Don't laugh, but I can't bench 40 pounds yet. When I first started doing the cathe workouts and others, I just focused on lower body all the time so upper body is a new thing, but I will get there.

I love working abs and back - strong worked-out abs make me feel energized, and a good back workout makes me feel so powerful.

RE: KathyS!

Thanks, Kathy. I won't sugarcoat it -- it has been haaaard. My doctor was the one who prescribed weight training. She said if my genes gave me not-so-good bones, I had to give myself strong muscles around them. At the time I thought she was crazy. But it was either that or three kinds of prescription pills for the rest of my life. It took me almost 2 years to get here. When my son was an 18-lb. infant, my back gave out. He is now 38 lbs. I can carry him without any pain in my back. I whined, too, but thank goodness I didn't whine too long!:)
